Evaluation of Anthocyanin in Amaranthus Gangeticus L. Nurawsuraw Leaf Extract as Hair Colorant

This study was conducted to Evaluate Anthocyanin in Amaranthus gangeticus Nurawsuraw leaf extract as hair colorant. Spectrophotometric analysis screening was done to measure the absorbance of anthocyanin and the amount of light that passes through a sample solution at different wavelengths in percentage solutions.Spectrophotometric analysis showed that the detected highest absorption of anthocyanin was indicated by the highest peak in less percentage solutions at maximum wavelength from which anthocyanin absorption can be found, while the lowest peak in higher percentage solutions was at the minimum wavelength with least absorbance. The hair colorant effect of the Amaranthus gangeticus Nurawsuraw leaf extract being mixed with the developer was viewed on the microscope and was observed by a desired coloration occurred on hair sample, which appeared to be red in color. In comparison to the hair colorant effect of the commercial hair color, it produces thick violet coloration to hair strand. Therefore, it is concluded that Amaranthus gangeticus Nurawsuraw could be used as natural hair colorant.

Shadow Detection and Removal using Tricolor Attenuation Model Based on Feature Descriptor

Presently present TAM FD, a novel expansion of tricolor constriction model custom fitted for the difficult issue of shadow identification in pictures. Past strategies for shadow discovery center on learning the neighborhood appearance of shadow areas, while utilizing restricted nearby setting thinking as pairwise possibilities in a Conditional Random Field. Interestingly, the proposed methodology can display more elevated amount connections and worldwide scene attributes. We train a shadow locator that relates to the generator of a restrictive TAM, and expand its shadow precision by consolidating the run of the mill TAM misfortune with an information misfortune term utilizing highlight descriptor. Shadows happen when articles impede direct light from a wellspring of enlightenment, which is generally the sun. As indicated by the rule of arrangement, shadows can be separated into cast shadow and self shadow. Cast shadow is planned by the projection of articles toward the light source self shadow alludes to the piece of the item that isnt enlightened. For a cast shadow, the piece of it where direct light is totally hindered by an article is named the umbra, while the part where direct light is mostly blocked is named the obscuration. On account of the presence of an obscuration, there wont be an unequivocal limit among shadowed and non shadowed regions the shadows cause incomplete or all out loss of radiometric data in the influenced zones, and therefore, they make errands like picture elucidation, object identification and acknowledgment, and change recognition progressively troublesome or even inconceivable. SDI record improves by 1.76 . Shading segment record for safeguard shading difference during evacuation of shadow procedure is improved by 9.75 . Standardize immersion esteem discovery file NSVDI is improve by 1.89 for distinguish shadow pixel.

The Level of Access to the Help for Catubig Agricultural Advancement Project HCAAP

In the Philippines, poverty alleviation programs concentrate much on the agricultural sector as the backbone of the country's economy as has always been a concern of every development plan of countries and the focus of development economics on problem of poverty. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood of the majority of the people in Northern Samar. That to pull the rural poor out of poverty and to sustain rapid economic growth, a 5.2 billion yen or 3.4 billion pesos allocation for the Help for Catubig Argricultural Advancement Project HCAAP was pushed to target the resolution of such issues as poverty, health, and accessibility. Generally, the objective of this research work is to assess the level of access of the farmer beneficiaries to the Help for Catubig Agricultural Advancement Project HCAAP on the farmer beneficiaries and to identify the HCAAP related problems encountered by the respondents. This research work is a descriptive evaluative study that calls for a quantitative method for data collection and analyses using Qualitative techniques like survey employing interview schedule. Purposive sampling was used in selecting the Barangays covered by the five components of the HCAAP then Stratified sampling was used in selecting the respondent beneficiaries. First, sample size was computed using the formula of Slovin. From that formula, 280 constituted the sample size. With stratified sampling, the five barangays were equally represented. The collected data were treated using frequency counts, percentages, mean, and ranking. It was found out that the HCAAP components were of moderate Accessibility with irrigation and drainage component got the lowest score of only 2.41 interpreted as low accessibility. It was concluded that the project would deny the beneficiaries of the of the access to the components of the HCAAP if it remained uncompleted. Irrigation system and farm to market roads were accessible were found useful only to land owners, few businessmen and not to a mere tenant. Hence, implementing agencies should fast track the completion of other components especially irrigation component and the government to give more land to the landless in the HCAAP service areas.

Market Factors Affecting the Operations of Lechon Manok Enterprise in Selected Towns in Northern Samar, Philippines

This study investigated the market factors affecting the operations of lechon manok enterprise in selected towns in Northern Samar. Results revealed that the main contributory factors affecting the operation of lechon manok is currency crises, sluggish economic growth, natural calamities, and diminishing number of customers. On the other hand, building a strong relationship with clients, no supply of chicken, frequency of buyers, lack of advertisement are the foremost problems that are encountered by the lechon manok operators. With this, the researchers recommend that lechon manok operators should consider all the market factors affecting the operation of the lechon manok business, and use strategies to adjust with the factors that will help to sustain a better profitability of the business. Consumers should be meticulous enough in choosing and buying a lechon manok in an accredited lechon manok enterprise, for their own safety consumption. Government regulatory authorities should be consistent in supervising the different lechon manok enterprise in town, to secure that all operators are following the standard policies or guidelines used in the business. It is viable that the future investors should have enough capital in starting a lechon manok business. Studies that will involve other respondents in other towns may be conducted to provide further information on the market factors affecting the operations of lechon manok enterprises.

Simulation DC Motor Speed Control System by using PID Controller

Speed control system is the most common control algorithm used in industry and has been universally accepted in industrial control. One of the applications used here is to control the speed of the DC motor. Controlling the speed of a DC motor is very important as any small change can lead to instability of the closed loop system. The aim of this thesis is to show how DC motor can be controlled by using PID controller in MATLAB. The development of the PID controller with the mathematical model of DC motor is done using automatic tuning method. The PID parameter is to be test with an actual motor also with the PID controller in MATLAB Simulink. In this paper describe the results to demonstrate the effectiveness and the proposed of this PID controller produce significant improvement control performance and advantages of the control system DC motor.

Experimental Result Analysis of Text Categorization using Clustering and Classification Algorithms

In a world that routinely produces more textual data. It is very critical task to managing that textual data. There are many text analysis methods are available to managing and visualizing that data, but many techniques may give less accuracy because of the ambiguity of natural language. To provide the ne grained analysis, in this paper introduce e cient machine learning algorithms for categorize text data. To improve the accuracy, in proposed system I introduced Natural language toolkit NLTK python library to perform natural language processing. The main aim of proposed system is to generalize the model for real time text categorization applications by using e cient text classi cation as well as clustering machine learning algorithms and nd the efficient and accurate model for input dataset using performance measure concept.

Design and Mitigation Techniques of MV Capacitor Bank Switching Transients on 132 KV Substation

This paper presents the techniques to mitigate transients caused by capacitor switching in the distribution system. It includes the theory of capacitive switching transients with different methods of mitigation. The paper uses MATLAB SIMULINK software package to simulate the specific mitigation devices. The mathematical calculations of different parameters such as transient voltages, current, and frequencies for each device are compared with obtained value from the simulations of each case study.
