GPS and GSM Based Vehicle Tracking System


A vehicle tracking system is very useful for tracking the movement of a vehicle from any location at any time. An efficient vehicle tracking system is designed and implemented for tracking the movement of any equipped vehicle from any location at any time. The proposed system made good use of popular technology that combines a smartphone with an Arduino UNO. This easy to make and inexpensive compared to others. The designed in vehicle device works using Global Positioning System GPS and Global System for Mobile Communication GSM technology that is one of the most common ways for vehicle tracking. The device is embedded inside a vehicle those positions is to be determined and tracked in real time. An Arduino UNO is used to control the GPS receiver and GSM module. The vehicle tracking system uses the GPS module to get geographic coordinates at regular time interval. The GSM module is used to transmit and update the vehicle location to a database. This paper gives minute by minute update about vehicle location by sending SMS through GSM modem. This SMS contain latitude and longitude of the location of vehicle. Arduino UNO gets the coordinates from GPS modem and then it sends this information to user in text SMS. GSM modem is used to send this information via SMS sent to the owner of the vehicle. Location is displayed on LCD. And then Google map displays location and name of the place on cell phone. Thus, user able to continuously monitor a moving vehicle on demand using smartphone and determine the estimated distance and time for the vehicle to arrive at a given destination.

Experimental Investigations and Computational Analysis on Subsonic Wind Tunnel

This paper disclose the entire approach to design an open circuit subsonic wind tunnel which will be used to consider the wind impact on the airfoil. The current rules and discoveries of the past research works were sought after for plan figuring of different segments of the wind tunnel. Wind speed of 26 m s have been practiced at the test territory. The wind qualities over a symmetrical airfoil are viewed as probably in a low speed wind tunnel. Tests were finished by moving the approach, from 0 to 5 degree. The stream attributes over a symmetrical airfoil are examined tentatively. The pressure distribution on the airfoil area was estimated, lift and drag force were estimated and velocity profiles were acquired.

Waste Management System by Using IoT

Solid waste management is one of the major aspect which has to be considered in terms of making urban area environment healthier. The common dustbins placed by the municipal corporation are leading number of health, environmental and social issues. Various causes are like improper dustbin placement in city, improper system of collecting waste by City Corporation, and more specifically people are not aware enough to use dustbins in proper way. These various major causes are leading serious problems like, an unhygienic condition, air pollution and unhealthy environment creating health disease. Up till now, research has been carried out by developing a Software Applications for indicating dustbin status, another by shortest part method for garbage collecting vehicles by integrating RFID ,GSM, GIS system but no active efforts has been taken paying attention towards managing such waste in atomized way. Considering all these major factors, a smart solid waste management system is designed that will check status and give alert of dustbin fullness and more significantly system has a feature to literate people to use dustbin properly and to literate people to use dustbin properly and to automatically sense and clean garbage present outside the dustbin. Thus presented solution achieves smart solid waste management system.

Drunk and Drive Detection using Raspberry Pi


In this modern era unnatural deaths are increasing day by day but major part of the unnatural deaths are caused by the drunk driving. Driving while drunk is very dangerous and it leads to vehicle crashes , roadway wounds. Many preventions measures had been taken likewise seizing vehicle permit, fine and punishment, seizing licence. Despite the fact that many prolepsis have been taken still the percentage of accidents due to drunk driving is increasing. This module is proposed to prevent people from unnecessary deaths caused by road accidents due to drunken driving. This module consists of Raspberry Pi model 3, alcohol detection sensor MQ 3 , GPS module and relay to control speed. A.

Design and Analysis of Crankshaft for Internal Combustion Engine


In this project design and analysis of the crankshaft for the combustion engine. These components have a large volume component with complex geometry and need huge investment. These will be converts reciprocating or linear motion of the piston into a rotary motion. In this project the product is modeled in a 3D model with all available constraint by using advanced cad software CATIA V5. this model will be converted to initial graphics exchange specification IGES format and imported to ANSYS workbench to perform static analysis. Finite element analysis FEA is performed to obtain the various stress and critical location of crankshaft under loads by using ANSYS software. This project helps to many researchers to select best material to production of crankshaft.

IoT Based Smart Horticulture Monitoring System


For smart horticulture system, one person take care of everything is some difficult due to his busy life style, but the healthy food and financially feasible life time is very important. Now a days the vegetables containing more chemical wastages that affect the human life time. The smart horticulture systems provide the each one to create the food healthy and ensure the quality of the vegetables to create home itself using this horticulture. The normal person can keep the horticulture running and the plants healthy in case the primary person becomes unavailable. The horticulture production needs less labour, less capital, has faster returns than normal production. And it cannot be easily influenced by the climate. Therefore the nurseries are wanted subsequent to next to vegetable under growers. It be extremely easier said than done en route for be alive inside incriminate of scattered horticulture lacking a isolated atmosphere monitor arrangement. In current technology, there appeared a canopy remote monitoring system based on Ethernet. In this system we make use of dissimilar module such since Global System Monitoring, 8051 next to the alike moment as organizer, be on fire detecting antenna, warmth detect feeler, dampness detect feeler, and exhibit the being there of gab resting on 16X2 LCD lying on the receiver surface. Generalized Unified Power Quality Conditioner UPQC System with an Improved Control Method Under Distorted and Unbalanced Load Conditions


This paper deals with the power quality condition which is the integration of the series active and shunt active filter the main concept is that while considering the harmonic distortion or the voltage mitigation problem of the device UPQC usually compensate various element of the power system which has a negative impact on the system by eliminating it UPQC is a reliable device due to its nominal cost and fast response with low error handing capabilities. Whenever we consider any transmission and distribution system there are many electrical loads which are very important for the facing of the voltage variation .This paper present a novel method through which we will developing a control method for shunt active filter and PQ theory based control technique for series active filter to compensate power problem in a 3 phase four wire UPQC .The purpose UPQC will improve the power quality of power distribution system under balanced and distorted load condition. The control scheme used is the hysteresis voltage controller by using a b c to d q transformation.
