Digital Tachometer using Aurdino

A Digital RPM Meter is a measuring instrument which can measure the rotational speed of a rotary machine digitally. In industries we can use this type of digital tachometers which will reduce human effect. The industrial name of this instrument is “Tachometer”. It is an important measuring device in the field of electrical engineering and widely used in industries and laboratorial work. Here we are going to design an Aurdino based digital tachometer using IR sensor module to detect object for count rotation of any rotating body and the programming is given by the FTDI programmer. As IR transmits IR rays which reflect back to IR receiver and then IR Module generates an output or pulse which is detected by the aurdino controller when we press start button. It counts continuously for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds aurdino calculate RPM for a minute using given formula. Here we demonstrate this project using ceiling fan.

Experimental Investigations and Analysis of Thermoelectric Refrigerator with Multiple Peltier Modules

As the conventional refrigeration system are large in size and consumes a lot of electrical energy which in terns leads to releases of more green house gases for production of electricity which is major environmental concern nowadays. Thermo electric refrigerators are compact and consume less electrical energy which supports use of renewable energy resources such as solar, tidal, wind power, etc. major applications of thermo electric refrigerator are in medical storage systems, blood tissue transfer and as a portable refrigerator.

Automatic Temperature Controlled Air Cooler Design, Assembly and Testing

Temperature control is defined as to maintain the temperature at desired set point. It is widely used process. In modern era temperature control is an important factor as it has many applications. Automatic temperature control is the best way to control the temperature automatically in any electrical appliance. This method has improved significantly in temperature control as it functions with least or minimal manual intervention. The result shows the temperature is controlled in an effective and precise manner. In addition, it was observed that Automatic Temperature Controlled Air Cooler was cost efficient as compared to the conventional air cooler.

Facial Emoji Recognition

Facial emoji recognition is a human computer interaction system. In recent times, automatic face recognition or facial expression recognition has attracted increasing attention from researchers in psychology, computer science, linguistics, neuroscience, and similar fields. Facial emoji recognizer is an end user application which detects the expression of the person in the video being captured by the camera. The smiley relevant to the expression of the person in the video is shown on the screen which changes with the change in the expressions. Facial expressions are important in human communication and interactions. Also, they are used as an important tool in studies about behavior and in medical fields. Facial emoji recognizer provides a fast and practical approach for non meddlesome emotion detection. The purpose was to develop an intelligent system for facial based expression classification using CNN algorithm. Haar classifier is used for face detection and CNN algorithm is utilized for the expression detection and giving the emoticon relevant to the expression as the output.

Evaluation of BER in LTE System using Various Modulation Techniques over different Modulation Schemes

Wireless communication is one of the mainly active areas of tools progress and has become an ever more essential and prominent part of everyday life. Simulation of wireless channels accurately is very important for the intend and performance evaluation of wireless communication systems and components. We evaluated the act of available transmission modes in LTE. However, performance analysis can be done straightforward using evaluation of LTE. The performance of transmission modes are evaluated by calculating probability of Bit Error Rate BER versus Signal Noise Ratio SNR under the frequently used three wireless channel models AWGN, Rayleigh and Rician . We will consider the data modulation and data rate to analyze performance that is BER vs. SNR. A comparative analysis of QPSK and 16QAM, 32 QAM and 64 QAM will also provide knowledge base which helps for application development in real world.

Design and Analysis of Electric Bike

The goal of the project is to design an electric bike which is suitable for use as a daily commuter. The electric bike is powered by a 2 KW BLDC 48Volts motor with peak rotational speed of 3000 RPM. The rear wheel of the bike is chain driven. By considering factors like power density, weight and cost, Lithium ion batteries of type LiFePO4 Lithium iron phosphate are best suited for electric bike. The position of driver is very crucial as it affects center of gravity, weight distribution and ergonomics of the driver. The sub components of an electric bike are as follows chassis, prime power, propulsion, displays and controls. The modelling software used to develop the frame is Solid works and using solid works various FEA are carried out. The frame structure should be optimized for having a strong and light weight structure by considering load paths, bending moments and stress concentration.

Self Rechargeable Paper Thin Film Batteries

This paper covers the use of cellulose paper simultaneously as electrolyte, separation of terminals, and physical help of a battery controlled battery. The testimony on the two substances of a paper sheet of metal or metal oxides dainty layers with different electrochemical potential outcomes, independently as anode and cathode, such as Cu and Al, lead to a yield voltage of 0.70 V and a stream thickness that varies between 150 n A cm and 0.5 m A cm, subject to the paper structure, thickness and the dimension of OH species adsorbed in the paper matrix. The electrical yield of the paper battery is self governing of the terminals thickness yet strongly depends on the climatic relative stickiness RH , with a stream thickness redesign by various solicitations of significance when RH changes from 60 to 85 . Other than versatility, negligible exertion, low material use, regular very much arranged, the power yield of paper batteries can be changed in accordance with the perfect voltage– current required, by genuine mix. A 3 V demonstrate was made to control the ON OFF state of a paper.
