Application of Cartoon Like Effects to Actual Images

This paper represents different techniques of converting image to cartoon. Using any one of below mentioned techniques it is possible to convert all types of captured images to cartoon such as images of person, mountains, trees, flora and fauna etc. There are several other techniques for image to cartoon conversion such as using photoshop, adobe illustrator, windows MAC, paint.net and much more

Design of Ceiling Fan Regulator Knob

Injection moulds are divided into two types based on runner design i.e. Cold runner moulds and Runner less moulds i.e. hot runner moulds. In cold runner moulds, for multi cavity and multi point injection moulds, there is wreckage of material in runner area. Sometimes wreckage of material is more than component weight. For avoiding the above problem, the technique used is hot Runner moulds. Hot runner mould is the advanced manufacturing methods for multi cavity type moulds. These types of moulds are widely used for large production rate. While producing plastic components using normal standard multi cavity mould, we are facing the problems like partial filling, cavities in components, less product quality, injection pressure and temperature drop age and warpage etc. Thus we are redesigning the Ceiling Fan Regulator Knob by doing some modification in and this will be beneficial for our using purpose. We are making design of the component, mould flow analysis using software Solidworks.

Identifying Three Phase Induction Motor Equivalent Circuit Parameters from Nameplate Data by Different Analytical Methods

The induction motor equivalent circuit parameters are required for many performance and planning studies involving induction motors. These parameters are typically calculated from standardized motor performance tests, such as the no load, full load, and locked rotor tests. However, standardized test data is not typically available to the end user. Alternatively, the equivalent circuit parameters may be estimated based on published performance data for the motor. Methodologies for obtaining the parameters of the equivalent circuit for an induction motor from the information on the nameplate and an analysis is presented so that the typical parameters of an equivalent circuit can be readily estimated.

Optimization of Turning Process Parameters for EN24 Steel Alloy using Experimental Design

The overarching aim of this work is to optimize the various process parameters involved in turning of EN 24 Steel alloy using Tungsten Carbide inserts to enhance the tool life and surface finish. Appropriate or random selection of cutting parameters have serious effect over the final output responses such as Surface Roughness , Tool life and other related properties of both the work piece and tool . Controlling the effective parameters is the need of the hour in any product manufacturing system. In the present work three different turning process parameters such as Cutting Speed, Feed rate and Depth of cut are considered for optimization study by varying them with three levels. The experimental design matrix for conducting experiments were prepared using Taguchi's Orthogonal Array and calculation of Signal to Noise ratio is done for identifying the best combination of parameters. Through ANOVA it is observed that Cutting speed is the most influencing parameter with a maximum contribution of 80.23 comparing to the other input parameters over surface roughness. The S N ratio method Smaller is Better have shown that the parameter level combination A3B1C1 2000m min, 0.05 mm rev, 0.2 mm can provide good surface finish of the material with enhanced tool life.

Performance Analysis of Preamble Detection at Maximum Throughput Level for OFDM

WiMAX which represents “Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access” is a major part of BWN “broadband wireless network” having IEEE 802.16 standard provides innovative fixed as well as mobile platform for broadband internet access anywhere in anytime. In this paper we, investigate signal detection and frame synchronization for wireless network signal using preamble detection method such as MSC, MGM, MMSE and MML and preamble we used AWGN and Reyligh channel, also used modulation techniques QAM with OFDM. The performance has been concluded based Sample versus Detection value and output through MATLAB R3013a Simulation.

Performance Analysis of Different Combination of Mimo Antenna System using Digital Modulation

The wireless communication system like MIMO OFDM Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing , the transmitter and the receiver have to be synchronized to each other in order to make efficient transmission. In this paper, OFDM based on the orthogonality are proposed for timing synchronization for Rayleigh channel using different combination of antenna system. This work simulate by Matlab R2013a tool by using communication block, and result shown between BER verses SNR.

Nanotribology and its Need A Review

tribology is a texture of two latin words tribo and lodgy . Tribo refers adding glove and lazy data. The Greeks first added it to appreciate the development of huge stones on the surface of the world. Today Tribology accepts a fundamental job in different imaginative districts in advanced mechanical organizations of semiconductor and data emissions, helps in the upgradation of tribological cleaning strategies and substrate oil accumulating the data. Tribology Expands the Future of mechanical parts. Under any circumstances, the methods of different current days are required to have a bare cognitive diagnosis of tribology on the nanometer scale. Progress of treatment in vehicle business, endless supply of mono layers to nanometer layers or surface of the material. Being together of parts can depend on the understanding of the materials on the scale of the nanometer length. Along with these lines, nanotropiology rises in the form of a strong piece of nano technology and today it is ended diligently to consider it.
