Review Paper on Properties of Concrete of by Partial Replacement of Sand and Cement with Copper Slag and Rice Ask Ash

The value of concrete in present society cannot be underestimated. We can see concrete structures everywhere, such as buildings, roads, bridges, and dams. There is no escaping the impact concrete makes on your everyday life. Concrete is a composite material which is made up of filler and a binder. Typical concrete is a mixture of fine aggregate sand , coarse aggregate rock , cement, and water. Cement and lime are usually used as binding materials, while the sand binder is mixed as fine aggregates and crushed stones, gravel, broken bricks clinker is employed as coarse aggregates. The concrete having cement, sand and coarse aggregates mix up in an appropriate percentage in addition to water is called cement concrete. In this kind of concrete, cement is used as a binding substance, sand as fine aggregates and gravel, crushed stones as coarse aggregates.

Review Paper on Study on Properties of Black Cotton Soil using Stone Dust and Sisal Fiber

Soil is basic and important element in Civil Engineering field. Stability of every structure depends on the type and characteristics of foundation which in turn depends on the type of soil. Many problems irrupt if expansive soil, Natural soil is to be used in foundation, because of its shrinkage and swelling properties. There are many methods to make natural soil stable for various constructions. Natural soil is comfortable for road work, compared to other types of soil. There are two ways to enhance the quality of sub grade soil “Replacement of soil” or “Soil stabilization”. Soil stabilization can be done chemically or mechanically. Chemical stabilization is carried out by adding different chemicals in suitable proportion, while Mechanical stabilization is achieved by addition of admixtures which helps to improve the properties of soil.

A Complete Reference for Informatica Power Center ETL Tool

today we are living in the world of data science, where we have to handle bulk amount of data to run any organization. To accomplish the goal of any organization it's mandatory to take right decision at the right time. For this data is maintained in the form of data ware housing and for the extract, transform and load majorly informatics power center tool is used by organization. So in this paper we have shared the complete informatics power center logics, that will be useful not only for organization's but also be useful for data scientists as a complete reference.

Analysis of Heat Transfer for Solar Air Heater - A Perspective View

Solar air heater is one of the most valuable heat sources of energy with variety of applications such as industrial process heating, space heating, drying of fruits and vegetables, etc. It is renewable as well as pollution free for space heating and when it is used in commercial buildings or industries could be very expensive. The solar air heating is a process in which the radiant energy emitted from the sun is captured on an absorber plate and is used for space heating. Improvement in thermal performance of a solar air heater can be done by enhancing the heat transfer. Providing artificial roughness on a heat transferring surface is one of the methods for effective enhancement of heat transfer to fluid flow, the other is to introduce the copper wire mesh screen matrix and by passing the fluid through it. In this paper, reviews of heat transfer techniques with the use of Artificial Roughness Geometry and wire mesh in order to improve performance and the effect of various parameters of porous media like pitch, number of layers, bed depth, porosity, thermal conductivity, pitch to wire diameter ratio have been discussed.

Experimental Analysis of a Diesel Engine Run on Different Biodiesel Fuel Blends

Ever increasing rate in the production of automotive vehicles and the significance of decreasing the pollutions in nature trigger numerous researches to find the alternative solution. Biodiesel has been considered a vital fuel for diesel engine view point. In the present study a single cylinder diesel engine was run fully on non-petroleum fuels blends. In this regard Jatropha methyl ester JME and waste transformer oil WTO were selected as a fuel for the replacement of diesel. diesel engines such as fuel direct injection method is used. The WTO at low percentages 10-40 at regular intervals of 10 on a volume basis , was blended with diesel, to get the fuel blends for the investigation. The performance and emission terms were compared, analyzed and presented in this article. Fatigue Life Prediction of Leaf Spring used in the Suspension System of Light Commercial Vehicle

The fatigue is mostly the common cause of failure in most structural elements subjected to repeated and cyclic loads. This is mostly localized and takes place in elements of constant cyclic load application. This project deals with the fatigue in leaf spring carried out in spring steel 55SiMn90 to find the premature failure in the leaf spring due to variation in application of load. The spring is subjected to both tensile and compressive stress by means of fatigue testing machine. The leaf spring is obtained from the light commercial vehicle and it is subjected to varying stress until the failure occurs in the material. The results are obtained from the test specimen is evaluated to find its tensile and compressive strain. These values obtained will be helpful in analyzing the failure of the material subjected to reversed stress. It is also used for assistance to arrest the failure by implementing measures to culminate the effect of failure to ce
rtain extent.

Exterior Beam Column Joint An Assessment

In a multi-storied building, the beam-column joint is one of the most critical regions. Usually the beam-column joint was considered as rigid frames. Various researchers over the past years indicated that the joint is not rigid. Now it is also stated that instead of the failure in beam and column, failure can also occur in joint hence joint must be considered as a structural member. The Indian standards define a joint as the portion of the column within the depth of the deepest beam that frames into the column. In framed structures the bending moment and shear forces are maximum at the junction area. So, beam column joint is one of the failure zones. Among the beam column joints, the exterior joint is more critical. The exterior beam column joint have been a study for about 30 years since now. Still there are many more to be understood. In the present work a building is designed in STAAD. Pro V8i and an exterior beam column joint is considered. This joint is modelled in NX CAD and imported to ANSYS to analyse it to derive the shear stress and the corresponding deformation.
