Remedial Instruction in Language Disfluencies in the Non-Psycho-Expert Lens

This qualitative case study discovered and explored the plights of languages teachers conducting remedial instruction in language disfluencies, the way teachers conduct remedial instruction in language disfluencies in the non-psycho-expert lens, and the way learners progress in the kind of remediation they receive. The informants of the study were the language teachers of Buenavista National High School. These teachers are selected purposively as those who have encounter in remedial instruction for language disfluencies in the non-psycho-expert lens. The data were gathered through interviews with the informants. The study revealed that language teachers conducting remedial instruction in language disfluencies in the non-psycho-expert lens face dire situations on insufficiency in terms of background knowledge on language disfluencies, time, and resources for remediation. Another problem that they face is the learners attitude toward remedial instruction as well as parental or stakeholder support. Weak retention of the learners, insignificant change in the learning behavior and the use of colloquial words also contribute to the unwanted scenario of students undergoing remediation. Language teachers conduct remedial instruction in language disfluencies in the non-psycho-expert lens through utilizing various teaching strategies, going back to the basics, having awareness on learner diversity, seeking parental or stakeholder support, exemplifying passion for teaching, and having an encouraging class environment. Learners progress in such kind of remediation through the use of language in praxis or utilizing the communicative language teaching by teachers where students use language practically. Learners as well show activeness in the class knowing that they both share the same learning pace among peers. Most importantly, learners progress due to the acceptance and understanding of the teachers on the type of learners they have.

Energy Management System Using Renewable Energy Sources

Energy usage index indicates the country's state of economy, growth and standard of living. But the rate at which the energy demands and prices are increasing, it may be difficult to get the correct rate of development. The result of the same is to enforce retarding action on the growth and industrialization programs of developing countries like India for the want of sufficient energy reserves. Energy management refers to efforts made to reduce energy consumption.

Smart homes hold the potential for increasing energy efficiency, decreasing costs of energy use, decreasing the carbon footprint by including renewable resources. This article presents a discussion of state of the art in electricity management and conserving the renewable energy sources.

Traditional Indian Medicine

Nutrition is a basic human need. Dietary supplements and herbal remedies are popular complementary products people take. It is a well-known fact that traditional medicines supplement modern medicine in meeting the global healthcare needs. Traditional Indian Medicine or Ayurveda is among the well known global traditional systems of medicine and it is becoming increasingly popular. Ayurvedic drugs are used as food supplements in US, Europe, and Japan. This paper provides an overview of Ayurveda, the traditional Indian medicine.

Design, Construction, and Simulation of a Solar Fish Dryer

The use of solar thermal systems in the agricultural sector to conserve vegetables, fruits, coffee, fish and other crops has proved to be practical, and economical feasible. Solar heating system to dry fish, food and other crops can improve the quality of the product, reducing wastage of food as a result of lack of proper preservation. Fish is traditional dry in Nigeria via smoking which is unhygienic. The traditional method of using wood fuel has negative impact on our eco-system. In this research work, design, construction and optimization of a solar fish dryer were carried out.

The temperature of the inner surface of the glass dryer was determined as 94.8°C. The result obtained from the design of the drying chamber shown that an area of 0.12m2 is required for the system. Moreover, the area of the flat plate collector was obtained as 0.49m2. The temperature of the sun acting on the outer surface of the plane glass was obtained as 268.4°C while the effective heat gain is obtained as 0.115kw.

Analysis of Vapor Absorption Refrigeration Machine Performance with Different Configuration of Water Supply

In this article we analyzed the performance of the heat based single effect vapor absorption refrigeration machine, with the different configuration of cooling water supply. The comparison in these configuration is done on the basis of concentration of libr in the weak as well as in the strong aqueous solution, and requirement of heat load into generator .also observed the percent reduction of heat load with composition of libr XG .all the configuration has a specific significance but we try to find out that appropriate configuration which is more economically feasible without reach the crystallization limit in the strong solution side.

Analysis and Evaluation of the Effect of Heavy Metals in Fruits and Vegetables

Heavy metal contamination of fruits and vegetables cannot be undervalued as they are vital components of human diet. Fruits and vegetables are rich sources of vitamins, minerals, and fibers, and also have beneficial anti oxidative effects. However, intake of heavy metal-contaminated fruits and vegetables is a threat to human health. In this research work, the analysis and evaluation of the effect of heavy metals in fruits and vegetables were investigated. The apparatus equipment used in this research work include atomic absorption spectrometer AAS Model Perkins Elmer A analyst 100 , weighing balance, blending machine, plungers syring, beaker 100 ml , funnel, white man filter paper, distilled water, wash bottle, cotton wool, squeezer, volumetric flask and pipette 10 ml .

Fruits and vegetables samples were collected from local market in Nigeria. The selected fruits and vegetables used in this present work include orange fruit, pineapple fruit, water leaf, and pumpkin leaf. The analysis is basically connected with the analytical determination of the heavy metals i.e., lead, zinc, iron, nickel, copper and cadmium concentration present in fruits and vegetables. The analyses of the aforementioned heavy metals were conducted with an Atomic Absorption spectrometer AAS with model Perkins Elmer AA100. The results obtained reveal that Iron has the highest value of concentration followed by Zinc in all samples analyzed. However, the concentration of metals present in the selected fruits and vegetables were below the maximum permissible limit of 0.30mg l which is WHO FAO standard except for Iron Fe . Thus, the fruits and vegetables can be consumed.

CFD Analysis of a Double Pipe Heat Exchanger by using Fluid Based Nanomaterials

Double pipe heat exchanger design is a device which we using for heat transfer applications straightforward. This maintains one heat exchanger pipe inside another. After determining the required heat exchanger surface area, for either counter flow or parallel flow, the pipe sizes and number of bends for the double pipe heat exchanger can be selected. In double pipe heat exchanger design, an important factor is the type of flow pattern in the heat exchanger. A double pipe heat exchanger will typically be either counterblow or parallel flow.

Cross flow just doesnt work for a double pipe heat exchanger. The flow pattern and the required heat exchange duty allow calculation of the log mean temperature difference. That together with an estimated overall heat transfer coefficient allows calculation of the required heat transfer surface area. Then pipe sizes, pipe lengths and number of bends can be determined. The convective heat transfer, friction factor and effectiveness of different volume concentrations of Fe3O4 Nano fluid flow in an inner tube of double pipe heat exchanger with return bend has been estimated experimentally and turbulent flow conditions. The test section used in this study is of double pipe type in which the inner tube diameter is 0.019 m, the annulus tube diameter is 0.05m and the total length of inner tube is 5 m.

At a distance of 2.2mfromthe inlet of the inner tube the return bend is provided. The hot Nanofluids flows through an inner tube, whereas the cold water flows through an annulus tube. The volume concentrations of the nanoparticles used in this study are 0.03 and 8 lpm ,10 lpm mass flow rate with Reynolds number range from 9,000 to 30,000.in the process analyze the CFD analysis is performed in Ansys Fluent 15.0 workbench and its used different nanofluids used, which nanofluids better heat transfer rate find base on the results. In this process choose different nanofluids Al2o3, Cuo ,Fe3o4 this nanofluids properties taken by different base papers.
