Analysis and Comparision of Different Spectrum Sensing Technique for IEEE 802 11

The electromagnetic spectrum is natural resources. The use of wireless communication grows day by day but spectrum allocation policies is static, it tends to increase the spectrum scarcity problem. COGNITIVE RADIO refers to advance wireless radio which aims to improve the spectrum utilization by identify unused spectrum from environment. Spectrum sensing proposed the key method of cognitive radio which detects the presence of primary user in licensed frequency band to utilize unused spectrum. There are three categories of spectrum sensing techniques Non-Cooperative System, Cooperative System, Interference Based Sensing.

The current work aim on the performance analysis of Non-Cooperative System under low and high SNR, validating the result and applied the technique for IEEE 802.11 WLAN , IEEE 802.16 WIMAX . To estimate the threshold chi-square equation has been solve and identify no. of detected signal, signal under AWGN with the help of MATLAB software. It has been observed during analysis that energy rises at high SNR under AWGN and under high SNR no. of detected signal decreases gradually when the no. of sample increases. Under low SNR no of detected signal increases when no. of sample increases gradually.

Experimental Analysis of Optical Coherent Communication System in India Through Atmospheric Turbulence

Free Space Optical FSO communication is the transmission of optical signals through the atmosphere. This technology promises high wireless data rates, highly secured transmission, license-free operation and immunity to electro- magnetic interference. However, FSO reliability is decreased considerably by atmospheric conditions. In this paper, we characterize the Ghanaian atmospheric channel for FSO communication based on visibility statistic. We use Kruse's model to estimate atmospheric attenuation in India. The probability of outage on an FSO link is computed to determine the availability of the link. Our results show atmospheric attenuation as high as 150.95dB km and 128.2316dB km in the 850nm and 1550nm transmission window respectively. The average atmospheric attenuation in India for 850nm and 1550 nm wavelengths is below 2dB km. The Probability of encountering higher attenuation condition is low.

Water Quality Issues Related to Special Industrial Zones Along Hlaing River

In this study water quality of Hlaing River was monitored along the downstream reach during low flow periods and water samples were collected once a week during January and February. Stations for sample collection were fixed after site survey. There are altogether 14 stations to analyse water quality of the study river reach. The monitoring program includes collection of samples from seven locations along the river into which seven streams discharge.

These samples were analysed for a number of water quality parameters such as temperature, total dissolve solid, total suspended solid, Conductivity, Salinity, pH, BOD, COD and Arsenic. The results of water quality parameters showed significant variation in water quality of the river and the water quality monitoring data were compared to the water quality standards for different uses.It is found that water quality of Hlaing River deteriorates and doesn't meet the requirements for conserving of living environment due to the pollution from the tributary streams which received wastewater from adjacent industrial zones and newly Satellite town.

Design and Evaluation of MAC Protocol Strategies Techniques in Wireless Ad Hoc Network

Wireless communication has become a core part of modern communication technology. The Infrastructure less wireless network, commonly referred to as Ad Hoc networks, has attracted extensive research interest for past 30 years. In this work, the focus is on IEEE 802.11 network performance analysis of Multihop hop Ad Hoc networks under non-saturated network conditions. To meet the increasing demand of multimedia, it is necessary to provide the quality of service in such networks. The current work presents the development of an analytical model for network performance analysis. The medium access mechanism in multihop wireless networks should minimize collisions, and take care of the hidden and exposed node problems.

The IEEE 802.11 MAC with Distributed Coordination Function DCF does not scale well in such networks. We introduce Point Coordination Function PCF in the region of high traffic areas, and discuss its effect on network performance. To improve network scalability and throughput, we propose the design of a new MAC called Dual MAC. This work discusses architecture and working of the dual MAC in detail. Performance results of the network using dual MAC are presented, and compared with that of pure DCF operation.

Irregular Composites Thermal Establishment for Vibration Control

The Controlled Behavior Composite Material CBCM is a thermal dynamic compound, which has been developed for morphing applications. The thermal establishment is completed by a resource of heating generated within the composite formation. The combination between the induced thermal field and the thermo mechanical properties of the variety of components of the composite formation leads to the transform of the formation shape. The temperature basis is generated by Joule result, Carbon yarns inserted in the composite, are connected to a power supply.

The application field of CBCM knowledge is the domain of shape modification and active assembly. The objective of this work is to illustrate the capabilities of CBCM in the domain of vibration control. We will learn some reference plates with special constitution. The influences of these special constitutions, of the CBCM cause and the failure of stiffness for the matrix will be highlighted, for two boundary conditions, free free and embedded embedded.

Analysis of Artificial Neural-Network

An Artificial Neural Network ANN is a computational model that is inspired by the way biological neural networks in the human brain process information. Artificial Neural Networks have generated a lot of excitement in Machine Learning research and industry, thanks to many breakthrough results in speech recognition, computer vision and text processing. In this blog post we will try to develop an understanding of a particular type of Artificial Neural Network called the Multi Layer Perceptron. An Artificial Neural Network ANN is an information processing paradigm that is inspired by the way biological nervous systems, such as the brain, process information. The key element of this paradigm is the novel structure of the information processing system.

It is composed of a large number of highly interconnected processing elements neurons working in unison to solve specific problems. ANNs, like people, learn by example. An ANN is configured for a specific application, such as pattern recognition or data classification, through a learning process. Learning in biological systems involves adjustments to the synaptic connections that exist between the neurones. This is true for ANNs as well.

Design and Analysis of Revolutionary Elevated Supersonic Axial Turbines

The improvement in ultra compact thermal power creation is constrained by the unavailability of fluid machinery sufficient for supersonic flow circumstances. Conservative turbine designs exhibit unacceptable performances related to large aerodynamic losses and a narrow operation range. This paper provides for the first time in the open literature the design procedure, and subsequent analysis of the turbine performance of a turbine satisfactory for supersonic axial pulsating flows, as those encountered in pioneering combustors.

The design comes up to consider the most adverse condition, a steady inlet axial Mach number equal to 3.5. The possible turbine families were classified by the velocity triangles and discussed. An elementary issue in supersonic passages is to ensure the normal shock at the start of the engine is swallowed through the turbine passages, namely the turbine passage is started. To ensure self starting capability the turning is restricted to lower values than in the conventional subsonic turbines.

The design procedure was based on the method of characteristics, converting the inlet uniform flow into a vortex flow field, such that the adequate deflection is inflicted to the supersonic flow. The presentation of the supersonic passage was first assessed and then compared to conservative designs. The present design procedure and analysis of unconventional supersonic turbines provides strategy for the plan and optimization of efficient elevated supersonic passages, fit to future tightly packed fluid machinery.
