Design and Evaluation of MAC Protocol Strategies Techniques in Wireless Ad Hoc Network

Wireless communication has become a core part of modern communication technology. The Infrastructure less wireless network, commonly referred to as Ad Hoc networks, has attracted extensive research interest for past 30 years. In this work, the focus is on IEEE 802.11 network performance analysis of Multihop hop Ad Hoc networks under non-saturated network conditions. To meet the increasing demand of multimedia, it is necessary to provide the quality of service in such networks. The current work presents the development of an analytical model for network performance analysis. The medium access mechanism in multihop wireless networks should minimize collisions, and take care of the hidden and exposed node problems.

The IEEE 802.11 MAC with Distributed Coordination Function DCF does not scale well in such networks. We introduce Point Coordination Function PCF in the region of high traffic areas, and discuss its effect on network performance. To improve network scalability and throughput, we propose the design of a new MAC called Dual MAC. This work discusses architecture and working of the dual MAC in detail. Performance results of the network using dual MAC are presented, and compared with that of pure DCF operation.

Irregular Composites Thermal Establishment for Vibration Control

The Controlled Behavior Composite Material CBCM is a thermal dynamic compound, which has been developed for morphing applications. The thermal establishment is completed by a resource of heating generated within the composite formation. The combination between the induced thermal field and the thermo mechanical properties of the variety of components of the composite formation leads to the transform of the formation shape. The temperature basis is generated by Joule result, Carbon yarns inserted in the composite, are connected to a power supply.

The application field of CBCM knowledge is the domain of shape modification and active assembly. The objective of this work is to illustrate the capabilities of CBCM in the domain of vibration control. We will learn some reference plates with special constitution. The influences of these special constitutions, of the CBCM cause and the failure of stiffness for the matrix will be highlighted, for two boundary conditions, free free and embedded embedded.

Analysis of Artificial Neural-Network

An Artificial Neural Network ANN is a computational model that is inspired by the way biological neural networks in the human brain process information. Artificial Neural Networks have generated a lot of excitement in Machine Learning research and industry, thanks to many breakthrough results in speech recognition, computer vision and text processing. In this blog post we will try to develop an understanding of a particular type of Artificial Neural Network called the Multi Layer Perceptron. An Artificial Neural Network ANN is an information processing paradigm that is inspired by the way biological nervous systems, such as the brain, process information. The key element of this paradigm is the novel structure of the information processing system.

It is composed of a large number of highly interconnected processing elements neurons working in unison to solve specific problems. ANNs, like people, learn by example. An ANN is configured for a specific application, such as pattern recognition or data classification, through a learning process. Learning in biological systems involves adjustments to the synaptic connections that exist between the neurones. This is true for ANNs as well.

Design and Analysis of Revolutionary Elevated Supersonic Axial Turbines

The improvement in ultra compact thermal power creation is constrained by the unavailability of fluid machinery sufficient for supersonic flow circumstances. Conservative turbine designs exhibit unacceptable performances related to large aerodynamic losses and a narrow operation range. This paper provides for the first time in the open literature the design procedure, and subsequent analysis of the turbine performance of a turbine satisfactory for supersonic axial pulsating flows, as those encountered in pioneering combustors.

The design comes up to consider the most adverse condition, a steady inlet axial Mach number equal to 3.5. The possible turbine families were classified by the velocity triangles and discussed. An elementary issue in supersonic passages is to ensure the normal shock at the start of the engine is swallowed through the turbine passages, namely the turbine passage is started. To ensure self starting capability the turning is restricted to lower values than in the conventional subsonic turbines.

The design procedure was based on the method of characteristics, converting the inlet uniform flow into a vortex flow field, such that the adequate deflection is inflicted to the supersonic flow. The presentation of the supersonic passage was first assessed and then compared to conservative designs. The present design procedure and analysis of unconventional supersonic turbines provides strategy for the plan and optimization of efficient elevated supersonic passages, fit to future tightly packed fluid machinery.

Area Efficient Full Subtractor Based on Static 125nm CMOS Technology

A combinational logic circuit is said to be independent of time since it gives the results based on present input not past input. This research is concerned about the comparison between currently existing full subtractor IC and the subtractor which is built efficiently in the 125nm and observing the distortion and changes caused in the result of both full subtractor. The behaviour of the efficient full subtractor is designed using tanner eda tools which was useful and the currently existing full subtractor is designed using xilnx software and lastly the layout for this research is designed with the help of multisim. With help of this research many newly created circuits can designed much more smaller.

Harmonic Analysis of SVPWM Based Three Phase Inverter using MATLAB Simulink

In recent years inverters has taken a vast place in industrial application and is also used in various other applications such as static power converter for high power applications, FACTS devices, HVDC and also as electric drives for all ac motors when DC supply is used. Another major advantage is that their switching frequency is lower than a basic inverter, for this it has less switching losses and higher voltage capability. To drive this inverter Pulse Width Modulation PWM is used. Space Vector Modulation SVM is the popular PWM method and possibly the best among all the PWM techniques as it generates higher voltages with low total harmonic distortion and works very well with field oriented vector control schemes for motor control.

High quality output spectra can be obtained by eliminating several lower order harmonics by adopting a suitable harmonic elimination technique. Genetic Algorithm GA optimization technique is used to achieve proper switching angles to reduce the THD and elimination of a selective lower order harmonics with fundamental components at the desired values.
