An Image Quality Assessment of Multi-Exposure Image Fusion by Improving SSIM

Multi-exposure image fusion (MEF) is viewed as a viable quality upgrade system generally received in purchaser hardware, A solitary caught picture of a genuine scene is normally lacking to uncover every one of the points of interest due to under-or over-uncovered locales. In this paper a multi-presentation picture fusion(MEF) calculation by streamlining a target quality measure in particular the MEF auxiliary similitude list (MEF-SSIM).

In particular, first develop the MEF-SSIM list by enhancing and growing the application extent of the current MEF-SSIM calculation. The last superb picture has little reliance on introductory picture. Trial comes about exhibit the predominance of the proposed technique as far as subjective and target assessment.

Analysis of Power Transfer Capability of a Long Transmission Line Using FACTS Devices

power transfer capability by analyzing and comparing several FACTS devices such as Static Var Compensator (SVC), Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) and Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) in long transmission line. These devices have been used in different locations such as sending end, middle and receiving end of transmission line. The suitable location and performance of each model has been analyzed. Firstly, real and reactive power profiles have been studied for uncompensated system and subsequent results are produced.

Then these results are compared with the results obtained after compensating the system using afore mentioned FACTS devices. Overall analysis indicates that better power (i.e. 87.24% power) has been transferred when SVC is connected at the middle of the transmission line. All simulations have been done in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Determination of Dispersivity in A Laboratory Soil Column

In this study, a laboratory soil column experiment was carried out for estimating the dispersivity (?) in sandy loam soil by the inversion of the Advection-Dispersion Equation. An 89 cm deep and 15 cm diameter cylindrical column was filled with sandy loam soil in such a way that the bulk density of the soil in field condition was strictly satisfied in the column. Potassium bromide was used as the conservative tracer in the study.

The tracer concentration was allowed to pass through the column at a constant rate and the leachate collected at different time periods were tested for the concentration of bromide. The experiment was carried out until the relative concentration (c/c0) has reached 1. The calculated relative concentration was plotted against time for obtaining the observed breakthrough curve (BTC).

Another BTC was plotted using the analytical solution of Advection Dispersion Equation. The effective dispersion coefficient (De)value which gave the best fit between these two curves was chosen by trial and error method and the dispersivity of the soil was calculated (De = ?v)for a constant pore water velocity (v). The dispersivity of the sandy loam soil under study was found to be 1.7 cm which matches well with the previous researches.

Guidelines for Approching Steps of Learning Programmable Logic Controllers in Automation

This paper provides both Theory and Practical of Programmable logic controller (PLC) in Automation engineering. According to various manufacturing company, the nature and useful area of PLC may be different and this paper mainly supports step by step approaching methods to be familiar with what is PLC and how PLC work. Automation purpose is the main application of PLC and the programmers or control supervisors will be able to learn easily with the four levels or steps that perform in this paper.

Simulation Approach with MATLAB GUI for Teaching Electronic Engineering Subjects

The four main core of undergraduate electronic engineering course can be considered as Electronics, Computer Application, Control and Communication. The objective of this research was the development of software approaches in teaching undergraduate Electronic Engineering Candidates to cover the practice of what and how Electronics, Computer Application, Control and Communication processes are going on. This paper describes a simple computer-aided design approach for analysis of various system related to electronic engineering.

The GUI design of this paper is mainly focus on teaching electronic circuits analysis, control system analysis and RFID antenna design. The simulation program for creating a GUI that linking sub-program of each fields is developed using Matlab GUI. This paper is just a portion of the research 'Å“Design and Development of Easysuit Software Approaches for Electronic Engineering Subjects using Matlab'. All performance result of a sample GUI program that students can use to analyse the behavior of circuits, control and communication systems.

Performance and Emission Characteristics of Biodiesel From Algae in A Diesel Engine

Rapid industrialization and growth in population has resulted in the rapid increase in energy demand. Indiscriminate use of fossil fuels has led to extinction of petroleum sources. Pollutant emissions from diesel engines has caused major impacts in disturbing the ecological system. To overcome these problems, focus is towards alternative sources. Biodiesel, derived from vegetable oils, animal fats and algae is the future prospect. The paper reviews the research on impact of biodiesel on performance.

Fuel properties like calorific value, flash point and cetane value of biodiesel and biodiesel blends(B5,B15,B25) were found comparable petroleum diesel. Performance results reveal that most of the biodiesel, give higher brake thermal efficiency and lower brake -specific fuel consumption

Internet of Things (Iot) Based Smart Environment and its Applications

In day to day world the internet of things is one of the emerging technologies. Through wired and wireless medium IOT connects various object which helps the human to interact with objects in both digital as well as physical world. Due to increase of population the services are very challenging for the providers. To overcome those challenges the IOT has developed with many applications. IOT contain the sensor which connects to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RFID and also it covers wide area with many technologies like GSM, 3G and GPRS. The IOT devices collect many useful information from various devices and flow the data between many devices.

The flow of information can be done without human'“to-human or human'“to-computer interaction. Due to IOT the world will become smart so it is called as smart home, smart cities, smart building and also some applications. Many sectors are connected to RFID technologies like banking, agriculture, education, domestic appliances monitoring, Surveillances, government '“ e services, government '“ e services, traffic surveillance, meteorology and security and emergency. This devices also consist of heat, light, security system with less cost.

The online capable devices figure was 31% in 2016. It increased up to 8.4 billion in 2017. The IOT devices will be increased more than 30 billion in the year of 2020. The value of IOT will reach nearly up to $7.1 trillion. In 2019 Enterprise internet of things (EIOT) devices increases up to 9.1 billion. In this paper IOT based smart environment is discussed with its issue. It is used for transport, vehicle parking, waste management, reduce traffic, increase the better communication with road side objects like hospital, school and also with other objects.
