Implementation of Planning Techniques for A Residential Project using PRIMAVERA

With the onset of High Rise Buildings in metropolitan cities, planning and scheduling has become a major concept to be considered for a smooth execution of construction works. Completing a project within the scheduled time frame and estimated cost is the most challenging task any modern construction manager faces. Whenever he accomplishes this task effectively and efficiently then only the project is said to be successful one.

Oracle's Primavera P6 is an effective tool for determining an ideal schedule for construction activities. This project serves as a perfect reference frame for scheduling different High Rise Buildings. All the important steps like creating an EPS, creating a WBS, linking of activities according to their interdependence and availability of resources, reduction of float values, and determination of Critical Path are clearly exhibited in this report.

A Review on Face Detection Techniques

From the last two decades, face recognition is playing an important and vital role especially in the field of commercial, banking, social and law enforcement area. It is an interesting application of pattern recognition and hence received significant attention. The complete process of face recognition covers in three stages, face detection, feature extraction and recognition. Various techniques are then needed for these three stages. Also these techniques vary from various other surrounding factors such as face orientation, expression, lighting and background.

This paper presents the complete study and review of various techniques used in face detection and feature extraction staged under different conditions.

A Review on Speech Feature Techniques and Classification Techniques

Speech Processing method is one of the important method used in application area of digital and analog signal processing. It is used in real world speech processing of human language such as human computer interface system for home, industry and medical field. It is the most common means of the communication because the information contains the fundamental role in conversation. From the speech or conversation, it converts an acoustic signal that is captured by a microphone or a telephone, to a set of words.

Various fields for research in speech processing are speech recognition, speaker recognition, speech synthesis, speech coding etc. Speech recognition is the process of automatically recognizing the spoken words of person based on information content in speech signal. The introduces a brief detail study on Automatic Speech Recognition and discusses the various classification techniques that have been accomplished in this wide area of speech processing. The objective of this paper is to study some of the well known methods that are widely used in several stages of speech recognition system.

Wireless Jamming Networks

A mobile jammer is a device which is used to jam signals of a cell phone from receiving signals from base stations. Mobile jammer is used majorly where the disturbances that are occurred with the cell phones. So, in this paper we are designing a new Mobile Jammer unit which is capable of blocking the working of a cell phone from not receiving signal from Base Station. This was implemented using FPGA by interfacing Mobile Device, RF Transmitter and RF Receiver and LCD Unit. Keywords'”Jammers, Mobile Jammer, FPGA, RF Transmitter, RF Receiver, LCD

Process Optimization of Garcinia Gummi-Gutta for Production of Biodiesel and Performance and Emission Characteristics of Biodiesel Blends in Diesel Engine

The aim of the project is to maximize the yield of biodiesel from Garcinia Gummi-Gutta crude oil using heterogeneous catalyst (CaO) by optimizing four process parameters. And the performance and emission characteristics test is conducted in CI engine by using biodiesel blends B20, B40, B60, B80, and B100. The maximum biodiesel yield of 92.7% is achieved by using CCD of RSM in an optimum condition at molar ratio 9:1 by using 0.8% of catalyst concentration in 45 min of reaction time at 500C temperature. Whereas predicated yield at 94.14%.

The biodiesel produced from the GG at optimum conditions satisfies the relevant quality standards. The experimental evaluation of performance and emission characteristics of the biodiesel blends prepared by using GG biodiesel. The blends are prepared by preparing the blends of B20, B40, B60, B80, and B100.The performance and emission characteristics of blends are compared with the diesel.

The performance parameters such as BP, BTE, and SFC are observed. There is a small reduction of BP for all the blends 6.65% reduction of BTE for B20. The fuel consumption of B20, B40, and B60 is decreased by 9.67%. The emission of CO, HC and smoke opacity is decreased whereas CO2 and NOX are slightly increased due to oxygen present in biodiesel.

Anti - Theft Vehicle Device

Nowadays rate of vehicle theft is very high all through the world and the situations are even worse in developing country. The existing technologies for vehicle security have a number of limitations including high false alarm rate, easy deactivation and high cost. Therefore, protection of vehicles with an intelligent, reliable, effective and economical system is extremely essential for public vehicles. So. in order to bring a solution for this problem the proposed system can be implemented. Anti-Theft Vehicle System is installed in the vehicle, to track the place of the vehicle and to lock the engine motor, thereby controlling it. [1]

Clinical Depression Detection Using Speech Feature With Machine Learning Approach

Depression is a general mental health disorder that presents state of low mood, negative thoughts, mental disturbance, typically with lack of energy , difficulty in maintaining concentration, guilty, irritable, restless and cognitive difficulties such as lose interest in different new things. Clinical depression is a major risk factor in suicides and is associated with high mortality rates, therefore making it one of the leading causes of death worldwide every year. The landmark World Health organisation(WHO) Global Burden of Disease (GBD) quantified depression as the second highest leading cause of disability world-wide[1].

It is observed that, there is increase in tendency of clinical depression in adolescents (i.e. age between 13'“20 years) has been linked to a range of serious problem, basically an increase in the number of suicide attempts and deaths. This is making public health concern. In this project we are detecting whether the person is in depression or not using tensor flow software.

There various biomarkers of depression like facial expressions, speech, pupil, T-body shape, MRI, EEG, etc. Here we are processing on speech feature extracted from database by SVM technique. Again among features of speech like TEO, MFCC, pitch, etc. Here we are extracting MFCC feature of speech from database.
