Experimental Analysis of Automotive Exhaust Heat Exchanger for Thermal Uniformity


The I.C. Engines are losing large amount of heat into environment directly. This waste heat can be reused for other purpose like TEG, Air conditioning etc. A heat exchanger is a device that is used to transfer thermal energy between two or more fluids, between a solid surface and a fluid, or between solid particulates and a fluid, at different temperatures and in thermal contact. In case of TEG there is need to have temperature uniformity on surface of heat exchanger is important. So, it is important design achieve thermal uniformity for converting the heat into other form of energy effectively.

GSM Based Automated Fat Detection and Billing System


India is Farming country. The main source of earning money is farming the side business for farmer is milk collection. This collected milk is given to the dairy industry without any processing. So we are making a system which will going to change the lifestyle of Indian farmer. Dairies collect milk from farmer everyday and payments for this milk are done according to rates per liter. This rate depends on various factors like weight, CLR, SNF of the milk. We develop a system that will measure the fat content in the milk and calculate the payment automatically. And the cost of the milk will send to that farmer via message automatically.[1]

Optimization of Dry End Milling Process Parameters of Al-6063 Alloy Using Taguchi Method


This paper presents on optimizing the end milling process parameters based on the Taguchi method to minimize surface roughness and Tool wear for the work piece of Al-6063 alloy with high speed steel. The input parameters are speed (rpm), feed rate (mm/min) and depth of cut (mm). S/N ratio is calculated by using Taguchi method under the L9 orthogonal array (OA) with 3 factor and 3 levels. This S/N ratio is analysed by analysis of variance (ANOVA),and also find out the effects of control factor with help of analysis of variance. Finally, Results shown that, Taguchi design is the significant method to optimizing the milling process parameters of Speed 1200 rpm with 20% Significant.

Utilization of Waste Polythene as Low Cost and Eco-Friendly Material in PPC Concrete


The rapid growth of urbanization and industrialization in the world leads to lot of infrastructure development. And this creates several problems like shortage of construction materials, increased wastes production, etc. From many decades concrete is a versatile material for construction. Concrete is a mixture of cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and water. Now days, construction industries is in need of finding cost-effective and cheap materials for increasing the strength of concrete structures. 


Hence an attempt has been made in this analysis or investigations to study the impact of addition of domestic waste or very cheap material like polythene waste. In this paper, there is a reuse of waste polythene as partial replacement of coarse aggregate in M25 concrete conforming to IS:10262-2009 guidelines was designed as the referral concrete with the mix proportion of (1:1.54:3 ) and water-cement ratio(W/C) of 0.45 by weight taking with 0.6% super plasticizer dose by weight of cement. 

It is observed that, the compressive strength increases up to the optimum percentage of waste polythene (0.80% of weight of cement) and after that it tends to decrease. I also observed that, the flexural strength increases with increase in percentage of waste polythene in concrete. However, the optimum dose of polythene is 0.80% (by weight of cement).

Development of Grain Moisture meter with Moisture and Price Display


Moisture content of grain is one of the important parameters always considered when deciding the quality and price of grain, at the stage of harvesting, storage, processing and marketing. Grain having excess moisture content, if stored for long duration, will spoil due to insect/fungus infestation. Portable, field usable and easy-to-use direct moisture (%) & price display Grain Moisture Meter is necessity for the benefit of farmers. The types of Grain Moisture Meters available in the market with Look up tables, which cause inconvenience when carrying out measurements. 


This system provide the moisture of grain but in this system we got the problem, from which the moisture percentage commodities have to be obtained due to which we get the less accuracy and it is somewhat complicated. So to overcome this problem we have developed Grain Moisture Meter which due to its novel design, eliminate this problem and gives moisture (%) and price directly on a LCD display.

Review on Treatment of Pharmaceutical Wastewater


Industrialization is necessary for economic development, but it brings with them major threat to environment. Among from all the Industries, pharmaceutical industry contributes major role to degrade environment. Pharmaceutical products are in demand and its growth is tremendously increasing. The pharma effluent is a big issue to be treated. Ammoniacal Nitrogen, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Total Suspended Solid, Total Dissolved Solid are major pollutants from pharma sector. This paper reviews some conventional treatment technologies considering Ammoniacal Nitrogen as major pollutant. Various methods like electro-coagulation, reverse osmosis is compared, and sequencing batch reactor seems more effective and efficient with 90% to 95% removal in Ammoniacal Nitrogen.

Design and Implementation of Human Stress Detector


Today's life is full of frustration, deadlines and demands. For many people, stress is common that it has become an integral part of life. Stress is body's way of responding to any kind of demand and threat. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by re-leasing flood of stress hormones including adrenaline due to which body conductance changes, heart beat changes, blood pressure raises and breath quickness increases. They directly correlate the level of stress to one's emotion or mood [1]. In the proposed system heart beat rate, body temperature and moisture are the three informative signals that are used to determine the level of stress.
