Bagasse Level Monitoring System

As industrial revolution approaching towards automa-tion they need to upgrade their manufacturing process. We were visited to Siddhanath sugar factory, in boiler section, we found a problem with bagasse silo that it doesn't indicate how much bagasse is in silo. Hence the workers don't know how much amount bagasse in the silo? In all sugar industries the cane after processing is left with the waste product called 'Ĺ“Bagasse'. The Bagasse produced in the mills is used as a fuel to boilers and the generation of steam.

The steam thus produced is expanded in turbines and the power is generated. As the bagasse used for boiler to heat up and it is as per their requirement the bagasse will be used. They are used glass on middle of silo to know the amount of bagasse. But it requires a human being to observe it. Hence to reduce the human errors, we are making a system which will show amount of bagasse in silo.

Sequence Prediction of Firing Angle Bldc Motor Drive using Lookup Table

Brushless DC motors are also called electric switching motors. This is because the switching process is entirely done by electronic control and not mechanically. Typical brushless DC motors use a permanent magnet rotating in the rotor and a fixed electric magnet / coil on the motor housing for the stator. However, sometimes the motor housing may be the permanent magnet rotor and surround the electrical winding in the stator. This type of engine configuration is called an output engine, unlike the previous configuration which is a runner.

The configuration of the output wheel allows a higher torque while the freewheel has higher rotational capacities. A lookup table for voltage selection has been designed to provide a faster torque response. Steering control and speed control also developed.

Scaring Animals using Assembler Language

Human-Wild animal conflict is the major problem in the forest borders with large wild animal herds. Human conflicts with wild animals often occur, along with the narrowing of the wild animal habitat due to industrial and residential interests. The negative impacts of human wild animal conflict is on a large scale slaughter of wild animals. This problem which leads to crop damage, human death and injuries caused by wild animals, and wild animals being killed by humans. Wild animal Intrusion has been on the rise in the forest border areas with herds of wild animals straying into human habitation and creating a great loss to their properties.

The surveillance and tracking of wild animals are difficult due to their size and nature of movement. Prevention system for indications of human wild animal conflict is absolutely necessary. So an intelligent electronics system is necessary which can be affixed to avoid the human-wild animal conflicts. In this paper, an automated system to detect the intrusion of wild animals into the human habitat in forest borders is proposed.

Basic idea behind this work is to generate the sound signal which can be inaudible to human and irritating for wild animal. Such instrument can be mounted on forest borders so that wild animal herds will go back into the forest. The proposed is very efficient with good computation power and low cost.

Simulation and Analysis of Variable Speed Wind Turbine Coupled With Self-Excited Induction Generator

This paper presents the analysis of a wind driven Self-excited induction generator [SEIG] is connected to the resistive load. The power flow analysis is carried out for different wind velocities. The proposed scheme for regulating the flow of power through rectifier ensures reduced reactive power burden on the self excitation capacitor bank. The induction generator wind turbine and the AC- DC converters are modeled using MAT LAB.

Intelligent Drone based Personal Assistant using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Computation has become essential part of our life. The input devices and user interface changes from each generation. But still many users are unable to access information from reliable sources in a convenient way. In this paper, we are implementing digital assistants on mini drones using raspberry pi. This adds mobility and portability to the device. By this model, users can easily obtain responses through voice commands. The output is received from the cloud through Text-to-Speech (TTS) converter.

The Arduino acts as flight controller and it is serially interfaced with raspberry using python and hence the drone can also be controlled through voice commands. In order to prevent collision, we are implementing obstacle avoidance system through ultrasonic sensors.

Test Bed Installation for Performance Evaluation of Radon Mitigating Materials

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas. It originates from the decay of uranium, which is present in small quantities in all rocks and soils. It is colorless, odorless and tasteless and can only be measured using special equipment. Because it is a gas, radon can move freely through the soil enabling it to enter the atmosphere. In this paper, we install the test bed for performance evaluation of radon reduction of a SGM and an ARM. The test bed was set in a concrete structure which consists of eight partitioned rooms.

The bottom side of each room is covered by radon gas soil sampled at nearby open fields. Then, we install SGMs and ARMs on top of the soil to protect the indoor air.
