Classification on Missing Data for Multiple Imputations

This research paper explores a variety of strategies for performing classification with missing feature values. The classification setting is particularly affected by the presence of missing feature values since most discriminative learning approaches including logistic regression, support vector machines, and neural networks have no natural ability to deal with missing input features. Our main interest is in classification methods that can both learn from data cases with missing features, and make predictions for data cases with missing features.

Deployment of ID3 decision tree algorithm for placement prediction

This paper details the ID3 classification algorithm. Very simply, ID3 builds a decision tree from a fixed set of examples. The resulting tree is used to classify future samples. The decision node is an attribute test with each branch (to another decision tree) being a possible value of the attribute. ID3 uses information gain to help it decide which attribute goes into a decision node. The main aim of this paper is to identify relevant attributes based on quantitative and qualitative aspects of a student's profile such as CGPA, academic performance, technical and communication skills and design a model which can predict the placement of a student. For this purpose ID3 classification technique based on decision tree has been used.

An Adaptive IoT Framework: using FPGA Based SOC for varying Applications

With the evolution of IoT, it is expected to create large impact on human lives. IoT is a region where world convergences with physical world. The IoT is an intelligent network which connects all things to the Internet for the purpose of exchanging information and communicating through the information sensing devices. It achieves the goal of intelligent identifying, locating, tracking, monitoring, and managing things. IoT (Internet of Things) is a system where objects are embedded with sensor technology to interact with each other over wireless communication medium to generate exchange and transfer data without human interaction.

In this paper we presented, FPGA based Adaptive IoT framework for Distinct Applications, based on Cloud server. In this, the controllers can read, collect, and transmit huge volume of data over the internet. This paper is focusing, the development of an adaptive IoT system that can be used in any field for wireless communication.

Study on utilization of fly Ash in Bitumen and in Flexible Pavements

The basis of the thesis was to find out the change in the physical properties of the bitumen by modifying it with fly ash. Different percentage of fly ash was used to modify the bitumen. Various physical tests were conducted on virgin and modified bitumen to evaluate its physical properties. Marshall Test was conducted on bituminous mix prepared using modified and unmodified bitumen and the results were analyzed and compared.

The study indicated that increase in the percentage of fly ash improves the physical properties of virgin bitumen. Further it also indicated that increase in the percentage of fly ash improves Marshall Stability and flow values in the bituminous mix.The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of fly ash as a filler replacement on the mechanical properties of asphalt'“aggregate mixtures. Utilization of fly ash, which is the by-product of coal-fired power generation, is of great importance from an environmental and economical point of view.

In this study, a dense bituminous mixture composed of calcareous aggregate was selected as the reference mixture. It was observed that there was a definite increase in Marshall Stability and decrease in flow values, especially when calcareous filler was replaced by Soma-type fly ash, which was one of the three types of fly ashes used. The mechanical properties, namely elastic strain, elastic modulus, and permanent strain, of the asphalt mixtures were determined by carrying out fatigue tests with a UMATTA tester for three types of fly ashes, portland cement, lime, and control specimens.

The changes in mechanical properties are important in the sense that they affect the behavior of asphalt concrete pavement under applied loads. This mechanism can be explained basically by bitumen extension. The fatigue life of fly ash specimens, especially Soma fly ash, was found to be considerably higher than that of calcareous filler specimens. Based on this study, it is demonstrated that fly ash can be used effectively in a dense-graded wearing course as a filler replacement.

Review Paper on Biomedical Image processing using Wavelets

One of the most common problem in human being is bone fracture. Bone fracture can occur due to accident or due to high pressure applied on bone. Another reason to occur bone fracture can be osteoporosis and bone cancer. Therefor accurate diagnosis is important. The fracture can occur in any bone of our body like wrist, heel, ankle, rib, leg, hib, chest, etc. the fracture can not detect by naked eyes. To detect it x-rays and CT images are used. Now a days image processing plays an important role in modern data storage.

Image processing is important in modern data storage and transmission. This paper presents a study of image processing techniques for bone fracture detection. This paper will help user to design new techniques to improve accuracy of fracture detection. This project employed MATLAB for loading image, image processing as a programming tool.

Run-Time Re-configuration using FPGA for Bio-Medical Application

Now-a-days, FPGAs are even used as prototyping devices. With the ongoing technologies to build these devices, FPGAs are becoming larger, faster and more accurate. With the proper development environments, FPGAs can also be used in end products to provide specialized features that are not always possible with ASIC chips such as in-field updates of hardware. Partial Re-configuration can be used to maximize the resource utilization in FPGAs. The partial re-configuration with FPGA can be used in Bio-Medical application at run-time.

This application can be considered to monitor and measure various health parameters viz., Body-Temperature, Heart Rate, ECG, Oxygen Saturation and Blood-Pressure etc. In this research article, the runtime partial reconfiguration using VHDL coding in Xilinx tool has been performed.

Secure Authentication for Advanced Voting System using Fingerprint and RFID

The problem of voting is still critical in terms of rigging and security. A RFID and BIOMETRIC fingerprint sensor is being used in this advanced voting system. In the initial stage of voting we use bullet papers and polling machine without any unique authentication on the election voting process. Biometric are used for human secure authentication because fingerprint are unique in human biological nature. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) used for automatic fetching data from data stored in device. The both modules are enhanced the rigging security in the election.
