Secure Authentication for Advanced Voting System using Fingerprint and RFID

The problem of voting is still critical in terms of rigging and security. A RFID and BIOMETRIC fingerprint sensor is being used in this advanced voting system. In the initial stage of voting we use bullet papers and polling machine without any unique authentication on the election voting process. Biometric are used for human secure authentication because fingerprint are unique in human biological nature. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) used for automatic fetching data from data stored in device. The both modules are enhanced the rigging security in the election.

A Review on Rapid Prototype Technology

Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques are methods that allow designers to produce physical prototypes quickly. It consists of various manufacturing processes by which a solid physical model of part is made directly from 3D CAD model data without any special tooling. The first commercial RP process was brought on the market in 1987. Nowadays, more than 30 different processes with high accuracy and a large choice of materials exist. A CAD technique to allow 'œAutomatic' creation of a physical model or prototype from a 3-D model leads to concurrent engineering.

In the RP process the 3D CAD data is sliced into thin cross sectional planes by a computer. The cross sections are sent from the computer to the RP machine which builds the part layer by layer. It is bonded to a starting base and additional layers are bonded on the top of the first shaped according to their respective cross sectional planes. The advantages of RP is Possibility of manufacturing parts which are impossible to be produced conventionally in a single process, it can be fully atomized also reduce lead time, and no supervision is required. Also it has High Resolution and No geometric limitations.

This paper provides an overview of RP technology in brief and emphasizes on their ability to shorten the product design and development process. Classification of RP processes and details of few important processes is given. The description of various stages of data preparation and model building has been presented. An attempt has been made to include some important factors to be considered before starting part deposition for proper utilization of potentials of RP processes.

Smart Polyhouse Farming using IoT Environment

A Polyhouse is a building where plants are grown. Polyhouses are often used for growing flowers, vegetables, fruits, and tobacco plant. Basic factors affecting plant growth are sunlight, water content in soil, temperature, etc. These physical factors are hard to control manually inside a Polyhouse and a need for automated design arises. Automatically controlling all the factors that affect plant growth is also a difficult task as it is expensive and some physical factors are inter-related, for example, temperature and humidity are related in a way when temperature raises humidity reduces therefore controlling both together is difficult.

Because the temperature and humidity of Polyhouse must be constantly monitored to ensure optimal conditions, a wireless sensor network can be used to gather the data from point to point. A graphical user interface (GUI) is unified for the ease of operations by the farming community. System also allows transmission of process parameters, including emergency alarm signals via e-mail client server or alternatively sending a SMS on a mobile phone.

A conventional chat has also been integrated with the GUI to add vibrancy to inter-user communication. This feature can be embedded in upcoming 3G mobile technology. Simulations and video tutorials can also be integrated in the web server for teaching the farming community. Such integrated approach greatly widens the socio-economic possibilities for farmers through interaction with modern technological resources.

A Survey on Garbage Monitoring System using Internet of Things

The IoT Garbage Monitoring system is one of the innovative systems which will provides a healthy surroundings in the cities. The ultrasonic sensor is used for measuring the length of the bins, once the bins are being dumped with garbage the level of bins are shown graphically in the webpage. The data's are stored in the microcontroller and through the Wi-Fi module the data is being transferred to the webpage.

The sensors are kept underneath the bins and once the garbage is being filled the data is transmitted to the microcontroller and from the microcontroller the data is regularly updated to the webpage through Wi-Fi module, once the level of garbage in the bins reaches the fixed threshold value then there is a buzzer sound which indicates that the bin is full, the LCD display intimates about the bin which is filled and a LED light glows the data is regularly updated to the user monitoring it in the webpage. Thus this idea helps in maintaining a healthy environment.

A Review on Bus Tracker via GPS using Android Application

Android is becoming very popular in embedded market for two main reasons. First, it is open source software; moreover, there are no royalty fees for java VM (virtual machine). Second deriving from the first, android is highly suitable for expansion as the developer sees fit. Being Computer Science Engineering Users ourselves, we have been motivated to develop this project for the benefit of the people masses, by the idea of providing an easier means of accessing various web resources related to the bus, thus providing them with a better, richer experience of travelling. Further, the recent advent and popularity of android technology motivates us to create an android application for the same.

Automatic Identification of Potential Respondents to Subjective and Objective Questions

In recent years social networking sites are very popular for user needs. Mostly people use an important social networking information source such as Twitter to find answers to their questions. Twitter contains microblogging services for informal information interactions. In this paper, we classify the subjective and objective questions using Naïve Bayes algorithm and also find the respondent users. For classification we build the feature extraction techniques such as lexical, syntactical and contextual in terms of the way they are asked and answered. For applying the classification on a larger dataset using other social media and analysis of performance.

A Review on Fast FPGA Development of RSD based ECC Processor

Elliptic curve Cryptography (ECC) is an asymmetric cryptographic system such as Lenstra elliptic-curve factorization. This provides higher security than the Rivest, Shamir and Adleman system (RSA) system. The processor employs extensive pipelining techniques for Karatsuba'“Ofman method to achieve high throughput multiplication. Furthermore, an pwerfull smodular adder without comparison and a highthroughput modular divider, which results in a short datapath for maximized frequency, are implemented. The processor supports the recommended NIST curve P256 and is based on an extended NIST reduction scheme.

The proposed processor performs singlepoint multiplication employing points in affine coordinates in 2.26 ms and runs at a maximum frequency of 160 MHz in Xilinx Virtex 5 (XC5VLX110T) field-programmable gate array.
