Design and Fabrication of a Convertor Ladle and Treatment Chamber

The main purpose of this project is to design and fabricate a Convertor Ladle and a Chamber for the treatment of SG Iron that can eliminate the major disadvantages found in the Ladle that is currently being used. To reduce the human effort and difficulties identified during its operations. The Spillage of metal during pouring it into the shank is to be reduced to eliminate the molten metal wastage. The main objective is to reduce the evolution of large amount of gases into the open environment, that causes discomfort and health issues. The Convertor Ladle simplifies the complex mechanisms being used in the Ladle for the opening and closing of the Ladles.

The Gear arrangements were altered so that it is now easier for the operators to tilt the Ladle. The design enhances the safety of the workers operating the Ladle. Material handling has very old and vast history. In evaluation and implementation of material handling system, multiple factors should be considered, including the plant facilities, the machinery, the material handling equipment and of course people involved. In this paper the overall revive of principles of material handling systems and various material handling systems used in foundry is taken.

Experimental Investigational Study on the Physical Properties of a new Concrete Mixture Prepared with Recycled Aggregate

Recycled aggregates (RA) are consists of crushed concrete, inorganic particles developed from the materials that have been already used in the structural constructions and demolition (C and D) debris. The aim of this thesis is to determine the strength characteristics of the recycled aggregates for application in the high strength structural concrete, which will provide a improved understanding on the properties of concrete with recycled aggregates, as an unconventional material to coarse aggregate i.e. natural aggregate in structural concrete.

The aim of this thesis is to determine and compare the strength of concrete by using different percentage of the recycled aggregates. Recycled aggregate is moreover the type of artificial aggregate which is obtained from the Construction and demolition (C & D) wastes. The Constructions and demolitions are processes that go one after the other. The demolished building aggregate in India generally goes to waste in land filling operation.

Recycling of these waste materials from building demolition can provide a better solution to this problem. The research investigation was carried out using the sieve analysis test, Specific gravity test, Water absorption test, Aggregate Impact Value (AIV) test, Crushing value test, Workability test (Slump cone test) and compressive strength test. There were total of five batches of concrete mixes, consisting of every 25% increment of recycled aggregate replacement, from 0 % to 100 % i.e. 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.

E-Mail Security Algorithm to Filter Out Spam E-mails using Machine Learning

Email has turned out to be a standout amongst the most essential types of correspondence. Lately, everybody utilizes email. Ordinary billions of messages are being passed around and many spam messages are additionally sent. Spam messages are essentially messages that are intended to advance an item or benefit and are conveyed in mass to various email addresses. Spam is a major issue for everybody from the individual home Internet client to the multi-national organization that relies on upon email correspondences to direct business.

Not exclusively is it a disturbance, it can likewise show a security danger to our system. It requires a great deal of investment to sift through the spam from which are truly essential. Spam shirking is vital from a security viewpoint. The point is to locate the best strategy to decide the importance of the email is coming in with the littlest misclassification rate.

Rehabilitation of Buildings for Functional Unsuitability: Need of Structural Health Monitoring

Repair is the process of restoring something that is now damaged, brock or deteriorated to fair condition and good quality. Rehabilitation is defined as the process of improving and returning the building or structure or ground to its previous well condition. Repair and rehabilitation is useful tool to satisfy the buildings functional requirement. Any structure has to be structurally tough and functionally suitable for fulfilling the condition of good structure as per limit states.

In the present study it is analyzed that how rehabilitation is insufficient for a structure sometimes if the building has not maintained properly after its construction. Some case studies of Older buildings has been taken in consideration and it is revealed that if the building have been kept in maintenance or the building could have been well monitored that its condition could be more better that present deteriorated condition.

Any structure must be monitored for its health and suitability for time to time utility. Maintenance of the structure is an asset for monitoring. Various NDT techniques and visual inspections have been carried out to justify the suitability of structural health monitoring. It has been observed that after the construction the building is used to the utmost utility without considering the maintenance and monitoring which leads to sudden deterioration and damage. Efforts have been made to clarify the importance of repair, rehabilitation, deterioration, maintenance, health monitoring and corrosion for a building.

Automatic Real Time System for Traffic Security and Violation Detection

According to UN report 2017, India currently has the second largest population in the world in that India has the world's largest youth population despite having a smaller population than China. We are considering youth because most of the fatal and non fatal type of accidents that we experience or encounter, contain highest rate of youth's lives. As population increase number of automobiles also increases. With the increase in automobiles, the traffic violation has increased exponentially due to lack of manpower and resources.

The traffic law violations has become a major concern for fatal accidents. Since there are various resources available to detect the traffic violations but this requires the effect of an officer for holding the resources and maintaining the manual penalty system. In this we have come up with an alternative method using video processing technique which overcomes the drawbacks of manual system that will enforce people to follow the traffic rules sincerely. The proposed system mainly aims to reduce the accident that happens due to traffic violation and also to provide safety to the human lives and vehicles in the accident prone zone

Manufacturing of Bio Plastic from Waste Vegetable

Bioplastic may be made up of agriculture by-product and additionally from used plastic bottle and different containers victimization microorganisms. Common plastic, like fossil-fuel plastic (also referred to as petrobased polymers), are derived from fossil oil or gas. Production of such plastic tends to need a lot of fossil fuels and to provide a lot of greenhouse gases that the assembly of bio primarily based compound (bioplastics).

perishable bioplastic will break down in either anaerobic or aerobic setting, betting on however they're factory-made. Bioplastics may be composed of starches, cellulose, biopolymers, and a spread of different material.
