Automated Greenhouse

Proper ecological conditions are fundamental for ideal plant development, enhanced harvest yields, and ecient utilization of water and different assets, and ecient use of water and other resources. Automating the data acquisition process of the soil conditions and various climatic parameters that over run plant growth allows information to be collected at high frequency with less labour requirements. The main objective of the project is to analyze the atmospheric conditions like soil moisture, humidity, and temperature under a closed path using Arduino mega.

The productivity can be increased to a greater extend using greenhouse automation. The DC pump is provided in which the relay switches on and off conditions as per the actions. This makes the DC pump to transfer water for the future process. All the atmospheric conditions are maintained at room temperature using different sensors.

These automation processes can be done using various electrical components including Arduino. The main advantage of Arduino is ease of understandability and easily modifiable. We can gather the information using IOT basis. The IOT basis helps people to gather information of the current status about the updates of automation as soon as possible.

Injector Based Smart Vada Maker

A compact table-top automatic Vada making a machine for use at lunch counters, in-store bakery counters, small bakeries, and the like, where freshly cooked vada are sold in moderately large volume. The machine is particularly adaptable to varying volume requirements, being an adjustable crank mechanism employed in the system. The machine includes a generally rectangular compact tank containing the cooking fat or oil which is heated by automatic thermostatically controlled means.

A removable insert in the tanks defines a circuitous path along which the Vada flow in the course of being cooked.

A removable vada extruding from the injector unit is mounted over one end of the tank to form and drop rings of raw dough into the oil. The Vada is moved along the surface of the cooking oil by a propulsion pump inducing a continuous flow of oil as the Vada is first cooked on one side, turned over automatically, cooked on the other side and discharged from the machine. The machine can be readily disassembled for easy cleaning.

The coating on Al6061 Aluminium alloy surface with WC/Ni powder compact electrode using electrical discharge machining

EDM is an unconventional machining process widely used for machining tough material. A special aspect of EDM is surface modification by transferring the tool electrode material to workpiece surface. In the present work, electrode prepared with tungsten carbide (WC) and nickel (Ni) by powder metallurgy route as tool and Al6061 as workpiece substrate. By changing the polarity of EDM (workpiece as cathode and tool as anode), the hard carbide layer of WC/Ni tool has been deposited on the workpiece.

The influence of compaction load through P/M method, discharge current and pulse on time during electrical discharge coating (EDC) on metal transfer rate (MTR) and tool wear rate (TWR) have been studied. As design of experiment, face centered central composite of response surface methodology (RSM) has been adopted to study the influence of various parameter on EDC.

Experimental Comparison of Yield of Bio-Oil in Fixed Bed Pyrolyzer

Generally all over world, the researchers are researching in the field of renewable energy and alternative fuels. Researchers are working in the manufacturing of bio fuel from the natural material and also scrutiny for the use as alternative energy source. In this work, the research is focused on the extraction of oil by means of fixed bed Pyrolyzer. Also in this paper provides the detailed information about the experimental comparison of yield of bio-oil from the coconut shell and the Indian almond shell with the help of fixed bed pyrolyzer.

The Performance Analysis of PAPR Reduction using a SLM technique at different parameters u and M in OFDM-MIMO System

The ecological functions of urban areas are degraded; the infrastructures of cities and the built-up regions have enormous impacts on ecosystems and ecology of the urban environment. In this paper, we focused on the connections of urban ecology and urban design, urbanisation impacts on urban ecosystems functions and ecological urbanism approach to degraded urban areas. The studies revealed the relationship of urban ecology and urban design and the ecosystem services they provide in the urban environment.

In Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is an new method for fourth generation wireless communication. MIMO-OFDM has become a promising candidate for high performance 4G broadband wireless communications. However, one main disadvantage of MIMO-OFDM is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitter's output signal on different antennas. In this paper, we present a new noble SLM PAPR reduction techniques such as selective mapping technique and Partial transmit sequence techniques and shows which of these PAPR reduction techniques are more effective to reduce PAPR in OFDM-MIMO.

Fault Testing and Diagnosis of Sram based FBGA using Built-In-Self-Test-Architecture

A new low-power (LP) scan-based built-in self test (BIST) technique is proposed based on weighted pseudorandom test pattern generation and reseeding. A new LP scan architecture is proposed, which supports both pseudorandom testing and deterministic BIST. During the pseudorandom testing phase, an LP weighted random test pattern generation scheme is proposed by disabling a part of scan chains. During the deterministic BIST phase, the design-for-testability architecture is modified slightly while short. Built in Self-Test (BIST) is a design technique that allows a circuit to test itself .

The proposed method of a built-in self-test (BIST) design for fault detection and fault diagnosis of static-RAM (SRAM)-based field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). can test both the interconnect resources [wire channels and programmable switches (PSs)] and lookup tables (LUTs) in the configurable logic blocks (CLBs).The test pattern generator and output response analyzer are configured by CLBs in FPGAs.

The target fault detection/diagnosis of the proposed BIST structure are open/short and delay faults in the wire channels, stuck on/off faults in PSs, andstuck-at-0/1 faults in LUTs. The testing process is performed by configuring the Test Pattern Generator (TPG), Output Response Analyzer (ORA) and Block under Test (BUT) in each test block.

Seismic Analysis of Multi Storied Building in Different Zones

Construction of building requires proper planning and management. Building are subjected to various loads such as dead load, live load ,wind load and seismic load .seismic load has extreme adverse effect on building so it is necessary to perform seismic analysis. This paper describe about the response of building when it is subjected to seismic load , this response can be shown by story drift and base shear .seismic analysis has been performed on (G+8) building which is located in zone 2 & 4 using STAAD Pro software . Analysis has been performed according to IS 1893 PART 1 (2002).
