Prototype of Total Artificial Heart System

Everyone knows heart is a vital organ. Your heart is the engine inside your body that keeps everything running. Basically, the heart is a muscular pump that maintains oxygen and blood circulation through your lungs and body. Like any engine, if the heart is not well taken care of it can break down and pump less efficiently, a condition called heart failure. There are many people suffering with heart problems and heart failure problems. Until recently, the only option for many severe heart failure patients has been heart transplants and VAD (Ventricular Assist Device).

Heart Patients hoping to have a heart transplant may not be able to realize their hope because the amount of donor hearts in relation to the amount of patients in need of a donor heart is minuscule. Heart patients looking to have a VAD implant may find that the system is not yet so safe or dependable because the materials used for it have, in the past, run the risk of causing a stroke. Due to the lack of reliable options heart patients have, researchers have been trying to come up with a new method to aid these patients.

The most recent success has been the AbioCor Total Artificial Heart System. In this paper we presented an artificial heart system called The ABIOCOR which overcomes the defects in the above two mentioned methods. We also presented its design and the components present in it and the importance of each component and their function. The AbioCor System consists of a set of internal components and external components. All of these components keep the artificial heart pumping blood and keep sending that blood throughout the patient's body.

The AbioCor System acts as a natural heart and allows the patient to be free of too many restrictions; the patient is allowed to be mobile, and is also allowed to return many of the activities he participated in before undergoing heart failure. The AbioCor is also designed to increase the life expectancy of the heart patient by at least two times

A Novel Approach: An Advanced Security Mechanism for Sending Messages using Steganography

Steganography is the art of concealing information in ways that prevents the detection of hidden messages. Providing security for sending messages and confidential information via internet has been a challenging task for ages. Steganography provides a method to hide the data inside an image called cover object, while communication takes place between the sender and the receiver. Several techniques have been developed by the researchers to provide secured transmission of data.

Hiding text messages inside an image using various methods in steganography is one of them. In this paper, we have proposed a new technique of file steganography and audio steganography. Here, the image and audio files are used as the carrier medium which adds another step in security. Only encrypted data is embedded in the image or audio file. Therefore, the intruders cannot access the original data from cover object as it will be available only in its encrypted form.

A Study of Pre Enginered Building

The pre-engineered building system is one of the fastest growing building systems in the world. The system is fabricated by using best suited materials available from all sources and manufacturing methods that can efficiently satisfy a wide range of structural and aesthetic design requirements. Pre-engineered buildings are ideally suited for long span, column free industrial structures.

After introducing the concept of pre engineered building (PEB), the design helps in optimizing the materials involved in the design. The adaptability of PEB in the place of Conventional Steel Building (CSB) design concept resulted in many advantages, includes economy and easier fabrication. Possibilities of long span column free structures are more essential for industrial structures. PEB concept is versatile not only due to its quality pre-designing and prefabrication, but also due to its light weight and economical construction.

Effect of Contributing Parameters over Material Removal Rate in Machining Incoloy 825 using Electric Discharge Machining (EDM)

Manufacturers of modern era aim on improved quality at low cost. The production rate is one of the major contributors to the cost of the product which depends upon machining time. The work concentrates on obtaining the influential parameters for material removal rate and machining time based on input parameters such as current, Pulse on time and Pulse off time. It was encountered that feed was the most important contributed for material removal rate. The R - squared value for Material Removal Rate is 96.55% and adjusted R - squared is 94.48%.

Transformer Parameter Monitoring and Controlling

Distribution transformer is one of the most important equipment in power network. Because of, the large amount of transformer distributed over a wide area in power electric systems, the data acquisition and condition monitoring is important issue. The main purpose of this system is distribution transformer monitoring and controlling through IOT. Also, it sends SMS to a central database via the GSM modem for further processing. The idea of on-line monitoring system mixes a global service mobile (GSM) Modem, with chip micro controller and different sensors.

It is installed at the site of distribution transformer and the above parameters are recorded using the analog to digital converter (ADC) of the embedded system. The obtained parameters such as voltage, current(over voltage, under voltage, over current)are processed and recorded in the system memory. If any deviation or an emergency situation occurs the system send SMS (short message service) to the mobile phones containing information about the deviation according to some predefined instructions programmed in the micro controller.

Garbage Monitoring System using Arduino

In last few years there is a rapid growth in urbandevelopment plans, the concept of smart cities. While the thought comes up for Smart cities there is a requirement for Smart waste management. The idea of Garbage monitoring system is for the Smart buildings, Colleges, Hospitals and Bus stands. The Garbage monitoring system thought is an improvement of normal dustbin by elevating it to be smart using sensors.

Garbage monitoring system is a new idea of implementation which makes a normal dustbin smart using ultrasonic sensors for garbage level detection, display and sending message to the concern department person updating the status of the bin using GSM modem.

Design Issues and Applications of Wireless Sensor Network

Efficient design and implementation of wireless sensor networks has become a hot area of research in recent years, due to the vast potential of sensor networks to enable applications that connect the physical world to the virtual world. By networking large numbers of tiny sensor nodes, it is possible to obtain data about physical phenomena that was difficult or impossible to obtain in more conventional ways.

In future as advances in micro-fabrication technology allow the cost of manufacturing sensor nodes to continue to drop, increasing deployments of wireless sensor networks are expected, with the networks eventually growing to large numbers of nodes.

Potential applications for such large-scale wireless sensor networks exist in a variety of fields, including medical monitoring, environmental monitoring, surveillance, home security, military operations, and industrial machine monitoring etc.
