Design and Development of Multi-Terrain Vehicle

This report presents the Rocker-Bogie mechanism that is being currently used for mars exploration rovers. This includes the comparison between the six-wheel six-motor rocker bogie and eight-wheel eight-motor rocker bogie. The data are collected for various surface conditions so that the rover can be used as an emergency supply vehicle in case of road blocks during landslides or can also be used to determine the safest route to cross the blockade. The main objective of the modified rover is to climb an obstacle of more than twice the wheel diameter and test it under the similar environment conditions as that of Mars in order to check the feasibility.

Column leachability test for understanding the persistence of four commonly used pesticides for cotton crop in Vidarbha, Maharshtra, India

Leaching, which can be defined as the movement of any liquid vertically into the deeper soil layers. It is an important phenomenon as it is one of the important influencing factors for groundwater contamination. The objective of present study is to evaluate the potential leaching and persistence of four pesticides viz. confidor, profex super, ulala and missile for agricultural soils in Vidharbha region of Maharashtra. Soil samples collected from the field location were tested on LCMS for pesticide residues.

Leaching study was carried out using disturbed soil columns of 30 cm length and 10 cm diameter. Persistence studies were carried out for 60 days duration under laboratory conditions. Leach ate was collected from 4 soil columns artificially contaminated with fixed intensity of pesticides and are tested for nitrogen and chloride content to understand persistence of pesticides in soil.

An Efficient HIM Technique for Tumour Detection from MRI Images

Data mining techniques are widely used for data processing from large data set such as data center and data warehouse. An Image mining technique is a new form of data mining technique in the processing of image data. In the medical field, day by day size of medical images data is increasing. MRI images are one of them. The medical images like as CT scan, MR images are widely used in brain tumor detection, cancer detection from the human body. It is quite challenging and complicated work to detect abnormal cells and tissue such as tumor from MR image data sets.

Due to higher importance and demand of medical image data, it is necessary to process it correctly and efficiently. Image Segmentation has an important role in the field medical image processing. In that way, MRI has become a useful medical diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of brain & other medical images. In this paper, we are presenting a new hybrid image mining technique (HIMT) for MRI Image processing. The proposed HIMT uses combined strategy of clustering method Fuzzy C-Mean with the Genetic algorithm and SVM classifier.

The main key feature of proposed method is it can able assigns and processed two or more than two clusters as compared to K-Means method where data point must exclusively belong to one cluster center and genetic algorithm is used as and optimization tool which helps to achieve results in less time. Proposed HIMT and existing method (K- Means clustering method with GA) both are implemented over MATLAB tool and various performance measurement parameters such as detection rate, area or size and time are calculated. Simulation results are clearly influenced that proposed HIMT method performs outstanding over existing method.

Secure Data Deduplication with Dynamic Ownership Management in Cloud Storage

In this paper, we propose a novel server-side deduplication scheme for encrypted data. It allows the cloud server to control access to outsourced data even when the ownership changes dynamically by exploiting randomized convergent encryption and secure ownership group key distribution. This prevents data leakage not only to revoked users even though they previously owned that data, but also to an honest-but-curious cloud storage server. In addition, the proposed scheme guarantees data integrity against any tag inconsistency attack.

Thus, security is enhanced in the proposed scheme. The efficiency analysis results demonstrate that the proposed scheme is almost as efficient as the previous schemes, while the additional computational overhead is negligible.

Big Data Analytics: A Brief Survey

In recent days, the size of the informations generated from modern information systems and digital technologies like IoT and Cloud computing is huge (ie. In TB). With this huge sized data, it is quite difficult to analysis and it is in the need of more effects at multiple levels to extract data. Big data analysis is the technique and used both for research and development. The idea of this paper is to give the brief about the big data concepts. Additionally, it will support for the researchers who is doing their research in the area of big data

Review Paper on MIMO-OFDM System Using Wimax Model

Nowadays, thanks to the remarkable progress in wireless technology, affordable wireless communication service has become a reality. Wireless communication systems can be found all around the world today. WiMAX which represents (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is a major part of broad band wireless network having IEEE 802.16 standard provides innovative fixed as well as mobile platform for broad-band internet access anywhere in anytime. IEEE 802.16 standard has bandwidth of 2GHz-11GHz for fixed applications and 2-6GHz for mobile applications.

It is considered the most interesting opportunity which is able to provide data throughput up to 70 Mbps and radio coverage distances of almost 50 kilometres, and to complete wired network architectures, ensuring a cheap flexible solution for the last-mile. WiMAX can be seen as the fourth generation (4G) of mobile communications systems, In this paper study on MIMO-OFDM System and review different paper on the based of WiMAX technology.

Design Energy Efficient SMAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks using Neighbour Discovery Scheduling Algorithm

Wireless sensor networks have recently attracted much attention from research. This project reviews the medium access control (MAC), which is a capable technology in wireless sensor networks called SMAC (Sensor-MAC). MAC protocols control how sensors reach a shared communication channel to communicate with neighbors in small area coverage. SMAC sets the protocol nodes to sleep during the transmission of other nodes. During this large amount of time waste in the data communication process, the neighbor node has to wait till the nodes get started.

Also, many packets are lost when all the nodes send the data packet simultaneously to a single node and this leads to data loss or corrupt data. In wireless sensor network the efficient use of energy leads to enhance the network lifetime. Idle listening, collision, control overhead and over hearing are the main reasons of energy waste in SMAC protocols. Thus, to conserve energy and enhance network lifetime we propose a new contention-based Energy Efficient SMAC protocol called EE-SMAC for wireless sensor networks.
