A Beacon Enabled Smart Library Management System

Nowadays, Global Positioning Systems GPS receivers are used for outdoor navigation, which are the part of recent smartphones and tablet devices. How ever, GPS is not suitable for indoor navigations due to its signal limitations which are blocked by ceiling and walls. Indoor navigation can be achieved through a mobile phone using a recent technology that utilizes Bluetooth, namely beacons. Beacons are small transmitters, run on Bluetooth Low Energy BLE technology, used as a point of reference for mobile devices and they can detect a Bluetooth enabled device once it enters its transmission range. In this paper, we present Library a beacon assisted indoor navigation technique for smart libraries. The proposed indoor navigation technique can also be used for other applications such as offices, retails, airports, hospitality, and education. For experimentation, beacons are placed in a library and a Bluetooth enabled smart phone is used to install a digital library application App which communicates with the beacons. The result shows that when the smartphone comes in the range of a beacon, it shows the information related to the book on the smart phone screen.

Design and Fabrication of Wheel Chair using Rocker Bogie Mechanism

Rocker bogie finds a vital role in determining the scientific analysis of objectives separated by many distance apart. The mobility design at present is quite a bit complex with many legs or wheels. The wheeled rover which is capable of driving over the rough terrain provided with high degree of mobility suspension system. The drive provided by the rocker bogie is simple and it mainly operated by the means of two motors. The motors are kept inside in order to make it more reliable and efficient. In overcoming the bumps in the natural terrain the wheels are operated simultaneously. By implementing this mechanism the vehicle can come through any obstacles it faces during the travel in the terrain.

Salesforce – The Future of CRM

Salesforce is one of the popular CRM Platform which is used to manage customers and their relationships with an organization. It helps businesses to connect with customers by using cloud technology. It also provides flexible functionality for large inventory systems. The application which we would be developed on a software as a service based platform for various enterprises and organizations to manage a large number of products.CRM model used in different organizations to manage interactions with customers by using phone calls, Emails, Meetings, and Social media, etc. It provides a personalized customer experience and also provides “ON DEMAND SERVICES”.In this paper, we are discussing Salesforce, Salesforce CRM, Architecture of Salesforce, Benefits, Applications, and its latest Trends.

Semi Automatic Glass Cleaning Machine for Dirty Windows

Window panel cleaning makes the building’s architectural glass free from dust and dirt. The traditional way of cleaning office windows cannot be applied to high rise windows with huge sections of glass. Cleaning the windows from outside requires special tools in going up and it’s unsafe. The Window cleaner proposed is a device that would be controlled by using a microcontroller. This device would be safer compared to traditional methods of window cleaning in case of high glass structures that increase the risk of loss of human life. The structure of the proposed device consists of a triangular frame and uses a suction cup based adhesion technique to adhere to the glass surface. The movement of the frame over the glass is done by using special rigging. The frame consists of an automated cleaner which is run by motors and pre programmed microcontrollers. The automated cleaner moves in the vertical direction within the frame.

Computational Investigation on the Effect of Fences on Aerodynamic Characteristics of an Aircraft Wing

A computational study, to improve the stall characteristics of wing at high angles of attack, with and without fence configuration is done here. Wing fences, also known as boundary layer fences and potential fences are fixed aerodynamic devices attached to aircraft in the exactly middle of the span and two fences are fixed in the exactly middle of the wing span and two fences are fixed at 25 percentage of wing span from their corresponding wing tip. The main aim of this research is to improve the lift and stalling angle. A rectangular wing with different angles of attack is used. Modeling was done in CATIA V5 R20 and meshing and analyzing was taken in ANSYS workbench and CFX. Then the graph is drawn for CL and CD for various angles of attack and various models.

A Review of Case Study of Room Comfort Analysis if Fan and Exhaust Fan Being Used

Now a days with the changing of climatic condition and rise of temperature globally becoming a challenging phase to human survival and achieving an human comfort at lesser cost is also challenging where world are facing energy crisis also. Comfort related to making up of room air which includes treatment of air temperature by mixing it, humidity and air velocity. Installation of air conditioning or use of such devices are costlier and not possible to have everyone while other devices like fans and exhaust fan are sufficient to make up room air by analyzing thermal study and flow pattern of inlet and outgoing air at cheaper cost. In this work already exiting designed room space is analyzing by considering variables like room size, air flow pattern, wind velocity, room heat load of electric equipment, Almeria and stationary item are included. In this work analysis is done to evaluate the heat transfer co efficient of room air and target is to achieve human comfort by proper selection of ventilated air location and air flow direction. With the development of Numerical simulations using a Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD technique it is possible to investigate thermal comfort and indoor air quality for room space using Ansys for Fluid Fluent. Since the CFD used approximations, it was necessary to validate the CFD program before it was used as a tool of study. Actually this is a case study of HOD cabin during electric load Energy Audit evaluation of entire academic infrastructure at NRI college and intention was to make the entire mechanical engineering department floor comfort space at cheaper cost. It is also a part to validate the urgent requirement of A C to our institutional management to provide given quotation based on evaluated data.
