Self Healing Capabilities in Polymeric Materials An Introduction to Techniques

Polymeric materials had shown tremendous increment in its properties due to its acceptability in a wide range of engineering usage. The usage is still restricted due to its reparability and life then after. The life of repaired plastic is less. The present paper study of various type of techniques available, which can develop self healing capabilities in polymeric materials. The main aim is to further concentrate on an idea which gives maximum improvement in engineering properties, life etc. for structural and engineering usage.

Secure Health Monitoring of Soldiers with Tracking System using IoT A Survey

The paper reports an Internet of Thing IOT based health monitoring and tracking system for soldiers. The proposed system can be mounted on the soldier's body to track their health status and current location using GPS. These information will be transmitted to the control room through IOT. The proposed system comprise of tiny wearable physiological equipment's, sensors, transmission modules. Hence, with the use of the proposed equipment, it is possible to implement a low cost mechanism to protect the valuable human life on the battlefield. It also includes about securing of data of soldiers in the cloud using cryptographic algorithms.

Automatic Car Theft Detection System Based on GPS and GSM Technology

An efficient automotive security system is implemented for anti theft using an embedded system integrated with Global Positioning System GPS and Global System for Mobile Communication GSM. System presented has Two types of tracking, one is online tracking with GPS system can only receive the vehicle location information from satellites and other is offline tracking. GSM system is installed in the vehicle for sending the information to the owner of the vehicle. The preventive measures like engine ignition cutoff is installed in the vehicle which is controlled using user or owner GSM mobile. The owner can lock or unlock his her vehicle with the help of SMS. The system is implemented on general purpose printed circuit board PCB Using

Spectrum Sharing Analysis of Cognitive System Through Enery Harvesting and Interference Negligence Technique

In this letter, a novel approach for solving the power and spectrum issues in wireless sensor network WSN has been proposed. Typically, a deployed sensor node is programmed to periodically send the data to the central base station CBS . Moreover, most of the sensor nodes are deployed in a hostile environment where replacing a power supply may not be feasible. In the proposed work, we intend to solve the dual problem of spectrum and power for WSN by utilizing techniques such as cooperative spectrum sharing CSS and RF radio frequency energy harvesting, respectively. Specifically, by characterizing the WSN as an energy constrained secondary user, which will harvest power and spectrum from the primary user, we have shown that significant performance gains can be obtained for both primary and secondary users. Closed form expressions for outage prob ability under a Nakagami fading channel have been derived for both primary and secondary users. Furthermore, the theoretical results have been compared with simulation results to validate the proposed analysis.

Structural and Vibration Analysis of a Machine Shaft using Finite Element Analysis

The present study is a simulation of a machine shaft. The study will be done on FEM simulation software called Ansys 14.5, where a modal would be developed which will undergo a process of meshing. Meshing will divide the modal in extremely small units without changing the shape of actual geometry which will help the software to study the change at every small unit of the model. Then the of the modal would be defined in terms of inlet and outlet thereafter the boundary condition and design equation would be applied to get the desired result.

An Efficient Virtual Memory using Graceful Code

Memory is hardware that is used by computer to load the operating system and run programs. It is buildup of RAM chip that has different memory modules. The amount of main memory in a computer is limited to the amount of RAM that has installed. Generally memory sizes are 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1 GB, because of computer has limited amount of RAM. When too many programs are simultaneously it is possible to run a program out of memory. This is the concept where virtual memory comes. Virtual memory enhance the available memory of a computer has by enlarging the address space or place in memory where data can be stored. Hard disk is used for additional memory allocation .However, since secondary storage is much slower than the RAM, program which is in Virtual Memory must be mapped back to virtual memory in order to be used. The process of mapping data and forth between the hard disc and RAM takes longer than accessing it directly from the memory. It means virtual memory is increased, the more it will slow your computer down. While virtual memory enables your computer to run more than one program it could, otherwise it is the best way to having as main memory as possible.

Steering Control Adaptive Headlight using Sensor

Nowadays, road safety is one of the priority of the government to avoid accidents. Road safety adopts those methods that can prevent road users from being seriously injured or killed. Most of the accidents happened during night time when the driver is unable to see its path clearly especially during blind cuts on roads and on hilly areas. In the conventional headlight's beam of light is focussed only in a single direction that is only in front direction. Our present invention provides a more degree of freedom to the front light which enables these lights to synchronize with the rotation of steering using infrared sensor controlled by microcontroller.
