Design and Construction of a 20 000 Mah Wind Power Bank

The study aimed to design and construct a portable wind power bank, using quantitative research method to profoundly explain the concept and define the problems that will make an improvement for the ideas in developing the project. One type of wind powered battery charging will be explored in this paper. This can be used in times of power interruptions, in the absence of electrical sources, during outdoor activities away from home where charging is a necessity, and most specially to save money by minimizing electrical consumption. It is designed to be installed fixed on home rooftops when at home but can be detachable and can be carried whenever necessary. It is an energy saving device for the reason that it may not need any external source of electricity. It consists of a wind turbine driving a generator and operates at variable speed. It consists of three different modules which are power supply module, power storage module and phone charging module. All these modules consist of different components that perform different functions. The power supply module consists of the components' physics, the principles and the design. The power storage module includes the components parameters responsible for the restoration of energy to the battery after it has been used to charge mobile phones. There is connecting port between the power bank power storage and charging module and the phone charging module through which it can be connected in order to recharge phones as well as to recharge the power bank from an AC source. This paper analyzes the property of the system components. The effect of parameter variation and the system configuration on the system performance are investigated.

Comparative Study on Analysis and Design of Reinforced Concrete Building under Seismic Forces for Different Codal Guidelines

Construction is a vital part of every developing country in this era. Every country has specific building design codes which provide the standards to engineers for the design of various structural components like the beam, column, and slab. Analysis and design Reinforcement concrete building of every country is based on their geographical location. Seismic forces are one of the major natural forces causing huge damage to lives and economy. So that one can understand the difference and can appropriate for best guidelines for safety to lives and economy. In today's world of globalization, an engineer must be efficient enough to understand and handle different codes. In this paper, a comparative study is presented for analysis and design of reinforced concrete building under seismic forces for four codal Guidelines IS 1893 2002, Euro code 8, Japan 2007 and ASCE 7 10 using Staad Pro. The comparative study includes the comparison building base shear, bending moment, shear force, percentage of steel, required area, displacement, and story drift. For seismic Analysis and design, the building elements like beam and column is also compared using these countries RC building code.

Study About Effects of Oblique Angle of Die Surface to the Product Quality in the Deep Drawing

Deep drawing is one of the special methods for the sheet metal forming in the pressure processing field. This method is applied to manufacture the mechanical products with the deep and complex shapes. The influences of oblique angle of die surface to the product quality of the metallic forming are diccussed. This study uses the Abaqus software to simulate for four cases of the oblique angle of the die surface in the sheet metal forming processes. With each the simulation cases, the result shows that the wall thickness, material distribution and forming pressure are different for each various products. Moreover, the simulation results support a useful data table for the research and manufacturing in the deep drawing field.

Design and Fabrication of Automatic Speed Controller for Automobile

This project demonstrates idea of accident prevent in hill area and other danger area. In this system we use a transmitter antenna that placed on critical region and it send it particular frequency of speed in certain region. If any vehicle receive this frequency of speed and speed of vehicle automatically set on particular speed of that place. This is very efficient and power full idea. This idea comes in my mind for saving of Fuel energy and provide perfect controlling of vehicle driver. This system provides automatic speed control in hazard region. In this project we demonstrate the idea of advance accident avoiding vehicle system. In this project we make a vehicle that control by advance technology. And we interface the RF with the help of encoder and decoder IC that sense hazard field and distance. According to distance it take an appropriate decision and according to condition it automatically control the speed of vehicle and it sense the critical condition of distance and it stop. My idea is very special idea for accident prevention because it sense the condition of obstacle and it weep the buzzer and intimation.

CFD Simulation of Air Conditioning System of the Classroom

We have focused on the design and modifications of air cooling duct system using Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD considering all air flow patterns affecting the system efficiency. Necessary tools and methods are applied for efficient designing. The different load conditions and the layout of the duct system need to be very accurate because if any deviation will result to problems like uneven cooling, frictional losses, increased noise and vibrations and also more power consumption. The above problems highlight the importance for optimizing the duct design to obtain desired flow conditions. Our work involves use of theoretical and software tools to get a detailed comparative analysis of the costs and benefits involved in selecting a particular shape rectangular or circular for the duct according to the working conditions. The focus of this paper rests on using psychrometry chart to calculate the cooling load and other parameters.

Design of Fin for Various Variables

In this paper, the heat transfer of fin without and with various extensions such as rectangular extensions, triangular extensions and trapezium extension is analyzed by changing its material such as Aluminium alloy, Copper alloy and Structural steel , and then a comparison is made between them. After comparison near about 12 more heat transfer is observed in the fin with various extensions in compare to fin without extensions for all the material. Here maximum heat transfer is obtained for the fin with rectangular extension for each material and the material for which heat transfer is maximum is copper. So after overall comparison it is found that that Copper alloy with rectangular extension gives the maximum heat transfer. Here copper alloy fin with rectangular extensions gives higher effectiveness compare to other extensions of fin.

Motion of curtains using Natural Language Processing

Consider a scenario of a paraplegic person who is on the bed reading a book and wishes to close the door because of the noise outside. The old system would probably comprise of calling someone either the maid, or relative etc. to close the door. This project aims to automate many of the home items by the use of voice. It can be implemented using an embedded system such as a processor capable of processing natural language and a mechanical system to cause motion on the item accordingly. For a user of the system, all the person would need to do is give commands like “Open Door”, “Close Door” etc. and the door would perform motion as per the instruction. To demonstrate the concept, we are automating the closing and opening of curtains purely based on voice instructions. Here, voice is taken as input by a microphone, sent to a processor, and is processed. This project is based on upcoming technologies and has wide scope throughout. Appropriate changes will have to be made depending upon the application and mechanical system used for the implementation but the core concept remains using voice as input to automate items, in particular household items.
