Color and Height Control of Fluid Mixing System Using Fuzzy Logic

This paper presents a qualitative control of a fluid mixer, which is a non-linear plant. The mixer has as inputs two fluids of the resulting mix. The control system consists of two independent fuzzy controllers which are responsible for maintaining the water level at a given height and for adjusting the color of the fluid in the mixing tank. The main points studied are response when the desired color is changed and when the output flow changes.

Simulation results show that approach of using two independent controllers, with simple rule-bases, can give good results. The simulation of fuzzy logic controller for a fluid mixing system using MAT LAB Simulink and MAT LAB Fuzzy Logic Toolbox. The Centroid (MAMDANI) method and center of gravity singleton method for defuzzification will be used in the inference engines.

Zigbee Based Smart Farm Data Logging and Monitoring System

An agricultural environment monitoring system provides monitoring services and facility controlling services. This system maintains the crop growth rate in an optimal status. This system also reduces the manpower, time consumption and improves the convenience. The existing monitoring systems are used in indoor only or short distance wireless communication technology (Wi-Fi) from sensor nodes to remote center.

In addition, the users want to reduce the cost for checking the monitored information in Local Area Network of Smart Farm campus without using the internet access. In order to solve these issues, the agricultural monitoring system must be designed such a way that can monitor environmental information and soil information closely and reports the status to remote location in LAN.

The main object of this research is to investigate the development of a low cost remote soil moisture monitoring system by deploying sensors, which can be used in a Zigbee mesh network. This sensors node send data via Zigbee transmitter wirelessly to a Zigbee receiver connected with main computer, which collects the data, stores it and will allow it to be analyzed. This data can be displayed as needed using GUI in VBA and can also be monitored by the clients in LAN.

Study the Effect of Using Subordinate Grass Ash on Mechanical Properties in Fabrication of Ceramics

Ceramics have been used since the earliest civilization. The field of ceramic materials has its roots in more traditional aspects of the subject like clay based ceramics and glasses. Ceramics are defined as solid compounds that are formed by the application of heat and sometimes heat and pressure. It has been defined ceramics as, "the art and science of making and using solid articles, which have as their essential component, and are composed in large part of, inorganic nonmetallic materials.
Sub-ordinate grass ash is consider for manufacture of ceramics since it has rich silica content and easily available in cheaper cost. Ceramics are developed by using poly-vinyl alcohol as binder in composition of silica, the composition is heated at temperature of 1000deg-c at 3hours, the samples are prepared by varying composition of silica. The newly developed ceramics samples are exhibit better mechanical characteristics like compressive, flexural strengths.

An Efficient Image Processing based Security Technique using Raspberry Pi

Image processing is one of the latest and prominent fields of computing and plays a very important role in security also like Steganography. IOT is the latest and emerging technology and need for the modern life. The paper is about the mixture of the above technologies to make a very dynamic security approach that addresses number of issues. In my approach I am using Raspberry Pi with camera to capture images and send these images to another Raspberry Pi in encrypted format.

Analysis of User Session Data using the Map Reduce Classification with Big Data

Enormous information frameworks are unpredictable, comprising of numerous connecting tools and encoding segments, for example, dispersed registering hubs, databases, and middleware. Some of these segments be able to come up short. Judgment the failures major drivers are to a great degree relentless. Examination of BDS formed logs be able to speed up this process. The logs be able to similarly assist improve test form, recognize safety rupture, alter functioning profile, and assist through a number of previous activities require runtime information test.

Be that as it may, commonsense difficulties get in the way log test tools reception. The logs discharged by a BDS can be thought of as huge information themselves. When working with vast logs, professionals confront seven principle issues: rare capacity, unsalable log examination, erroneous catch and replay of logs, insufficient log-preparing devices, wrong log grouping, an assortment of log designs, and lacking security of delicate information. Some useful arrangements exist, however genuine difficulties remain. This article is a piece of an exceptional issue on Software Engineering for Big Data Systems.

A Universal Printed Antenna for UHF RFID Applications

In this paper, a printed rectangular monopole antenna is designed for RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reader applications. The antenna is designed to operate at a frequency of 860 MHz to 960 MHz allocated for UHF RFID universal (worldwide) band. The antenna simulation is analyzed using 3D EM simulator, FEKO Software. The result of the antenna parameters such as radiation pattern, reflection coefficient and gain are also discussed. The proposed antenna is simple in design and fair in size.

HBA: Distributed Metadata Management for Large Cluster-Based Storage Systems

An efficient and distributed scheme for file mapping or file lookup is critical in decentralizing metadata management within a group of metadata servers. This paper presents a novel technique called Hierarchical Bloom Filter Arrays (HBA) to map filenames to the metadata servers holding their metadata. Two levels of probabilistic arrays, namely, the Bloom filter arrays with different levels of accuracies, are used on each metadata server.

One array, with lower accuracy and representing the distribution of the entire metadata, trades accuracy for significantly reduced memory overhead, whereas the other array, with higher accuracy, caches partial distribution information and exploits the temporal locality of file access patterns. Both arrays are replicated to all metadata servers to support fast local lookups. We evaluate HBA through extensive trace-driven simulations and implementation in Linux.

Simulation results show our HBA design to be highly effective and efficient in improving the performance and scalability of file systems in clusters with 1,000 to 10,000 nodes (or super clusters) and with the amount of data in the peta byte scale or higher. Our implementation indicates that HBA can reduce the metadata operation time of a single-metadata-server architecture by a factor of up to 43.9 when the system is configured with 16 Meta data servers.
