Multi Objective Optimization of Near-Dry EDM using MOORA-PCA based Taguchi Optimization Method

In any machining operation, the correct and optimized selection of process parameters is the most important aspect. Particularly in Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) also, its process parameters should be optimized to get the best result. Near-Dry EDM is an advancement in conventional EDM process, which is an eco-friendly process compared to the conventional EDM. In this paper work has attempted to simultaneously optimize all the parameters of near-dry EDM. Near-dry EDM uses liquid-gas mixture as dielectric. Input parameters considered are discharge current, gap voltage, air pressure, pulse on time electrode material and duty factor.

The performance parameters were material removal rate (MRR), tool wear rate (TWR) and surface roughness (Ra). L18 orthogonal array based on Taguchi method is used as design of experiment. For multi objective optimization MOORA combined with PCA analysis is used and then Taguchi method is applied.

Privacy Protection and Intrusion Avoidance for Cloudlet-Based Medical Data Sharing

With the ubiquity of wearable gadgets, alongside the advancement of clouds and cloudlet innovation, there has been expanding need to give better medical care. The preparing chain of medical information mostly incorporates information accumulation, information stockpiling and information sharing, and so forth. Customary medicinal services system regularly requires the conveyance of medical information to the cloud, which includes clients' delicate data and causes correspondence vitality utilization. For all intents and purposes, medical information sharing is a basic and testing issue.

Subsequently in this paper, we develop a novel social insurance system by using the adaptability of cloudlet. The elements of cloudlet incorporate security insurance, information sharing and intrusion detection. In the phase of information accumulation, we initially use Number Theory Research Unit (NTRU) strategy to scramble client's body information gathered by wearable gadgets.

Those information will be transmitted to close-by cloudlet in a vitality productive design. Furthermore, we exhibit another trust model to help clients to choose trustable accomplices who need to share put away information in the cloudlet. The trust display additionally causes comparable patients to speak with each other about their infections.

Implementation of MSK Modulation Scheme for Zigbee System / IEEE 802.15.4 Physical Layer

In this work physical layer simulation of IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee protocol has been done. The proposed work is the implementation of ZigBee system according to the protocol description. In this work we have simulated ZigBee system first with conventional OQPSK modulation technique, then the simulations are performed for MSK modulation, which is through OQPSK modulation. Simulation results for BER showing the average 79.43 % improvement in BER for Proposed MSK compared with OQPSK modulation scheme.

For a target BER of 10-2 the SNR required is 4 dB for this work i.e. for MSK, as compared to 10 dB for conventional OQPSK. Hence, an improvement of 6 dB less SNR. For a target BER of 10-2 the SNR required is 4 dB for this work i.e. for MSK, as compared to 5.2 dB with [1]. Hence, an improvement of 1.2 dB less SNR.

Literature Survey on ZigBee / IEEE 802.15.4 System Implementation

ZigBee is a low-cost, low-power consumption, wireless mesh networking standard. Firstly, the low cost allows the technology to be widely deployed in wireless control and monitoring applications. Secondly, the low power-usage allows longer life with smaller batteries. Thirdly, the mesh networking provides high reliability and more wide range. ZigBee is a standard which defines a set of communication protocols for low data rate short range wireless networking. ZigBee based on wireless devices operate in 868MHz, 915MHz and 2.4GHz frequency bands for operation.

ZigBee is targeted mainly for battery power uses where small data rate, low cost and long battery life are main requirements. In many ZigBee applications, the total time the wireless device is engaged in any type of activity is very limited. The device spends most of its time in power saving mode, also called as sleep mode.

Survey on Detection and Prevention of Intrusion

Intrusion Detection and Prevention System using GSM modem is proposed, which is designed to detect unwanted attempts of accessing, manipulating and/or disabling computer system. If intruder cracks or guess the password then proposed system will deny access of system resources with the help of security question known to owner of the system. Proposed system will take snapshot of intruder using webcam. Unwanted attempts can be avoided by using cell phone and GSM modem. System will send alert message to authorized user on mobile phone. Authorized user can control or prevent own machine by sending commands through message like lock desktop PC, shutdown PC etc.

Comparison of Various Waveform Contenders of 5G Wireless Communication Based on OFDM

This paper presents an extensive and fair comparison among the most promising waveform contenders for the 5G air interface which includes- Filtered OFDM, Filter-bank multi carrier (FBMC), universal filtered multi-carrier (UFMC) has been compared with OFDM in terms of spectral efficiency and bit error rate using mat lab. The disadvantages of OFDM have been addressed and it has shown that (fofdm), (UFMC), (FBMC) could be a more effective solution. FBMC is a method for improving out of band (OOB) characteristics by filtering each subcarrier, it is also expected to improve the Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) characteristics while UFMC is a method for improving OOB characteristics by filtering each block.

An Overview of Various Waveform Contenders Based on OFDM for 5G Communication

The rollout of fifth generation(5G) wireless communication technology provides high spectral efficiency, high speed, greater density of users, high capacity, pseudo outdoor communication etc. In the year 2020, the data consumption is expected to increase 30% which cannot be supported by the current technologies such as 3G and 4G. The (4G) mobile communication uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique in various systems like '“ Wi-MAX. Now as the technology is being advanced to 5G, there are some drawbacks of OFDM like '“ peak to average power ratio (PAPR), out of band emissions (OOB), and use of cyclic prefix (CP).

In this paper, the drawbacks of Ofdm in Lte has been removed using the waveforms contenders like - UFMC, FBMC, and GFDM overwhelmingly welcomed for the 5G air interface. The major applications of 5G are Internet of Things (IoT), Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) communication, Machine to Any (M2X) communication
