Extraction and Analysis of Pyrolysed Oil Derived From HDPE

The present study summaries the extraction and analysis of pyrolysed oil derived from waste plastic. The current rate of economic growth is unsustainable without saving of fossil fuels like crude oil, natural gas, coal etc. There has always been an increase in demand for fossil fuels while at the same time a depletion in its amount. Development and modernization have brought about a huge increase in the production of all kinds of commodities using plastics which indirectly generates waste. Plastics have wide range of applications due to versatility and relatively low cost.

This project focuses on the importance and implementation of Waste to Energy technology by deriving pyrolysed oil from plastic. The plastic opted for experimentation is High Density Polyethylene due to its properties favoring the process of Pyrolysis. Pyrolysis is the process of thermal degradation of plastic in the absence of oxygen. An experimental setup in order to accomplish pyrolysis was fabricated and thus, the raw pyrolysis oil was extracted.

The raw fuel derived was vacuum distilled to obtain the clear pyrolysed oil, whose analysis conducted in a Computer Integrated IC Engine test rig. The performance, efficiency and emission test of the distilled pyrolysed oil was experimentally calculated by blending with diesel at different blend ratios.

Effect of Load variation and thickness on deflection and operating stress of wave spring

Wave springs are used for load bearing into assemblies. When force applied to the spring, load is gradual or abrupt. Typically wave spring will occupy an extremely small space after compressions. In this paper effect of change in thickness of wave spring on the deflection of spring and on operating stress is studied. This study leads towards the impact of thickness change under different load condition. The result reveals that after increasing the thickness from 0.1181 to 0.23622 inch, drastically decrement noticed in the deflection as well as operating stress for different loading condition in wave spring. Study shows the deflection for two different spring materials (nickel and beryllium copper) considering different parameters that help to choose best spring material.

A Review on 'œCFD Analysis of Heat Transfer Enhancement of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Creating Triangular Fins on The Tube'

For evaluation of shell and tube Heat exchanger, thermal performance and pressure drop are dependent on the path of fluid flow and different orientations respectively. Increasing the complexity of fluid flow enhances heat transfer. This paper presents a review on the FEA simulations carried out on shell and tube type Heat exchanger with creating the extended surfaces on the tube wall. From the literature we found that heat transfer enhancement, is done by introduction of extended surfaces in tube side.

A Review on Airflow and Temperature Distribution in A Residential Building with an under Floor Air Distribution System

This paper presents the investigation to evaluate an under floor air distribution (UFAD) system existed in a Residential building. Despite the fact that UFAD systems are being applied in the field in increasing numbers, there is a strong need for an improved fundamental understanding of several key performance features of these systems. Recent trends in today's Residential environment make it increasingly more difficult for conventional centralized systems to satisfy the environmental preferences of individual persons using the standardized approach of providing a single uniform thermal and ventilation environment.

Under floor air distribution (UFAD) is an air distribution strategy for providing ventilation and space conditioning in buildings as part of the design of an HVAC system. UFAD systems use an under floor supply plenum located between the structural concrete slab and a raised floor system to supply conditioned air through floor diffusers directly into the occupied zone of the building. Thermal stratification is one of the featured characteristic of UFAD system, which allows higher thermostat set points compared to the traditional overhead systems (OH).

CFD models have been used to study indoor air quality (IAQ) problems, pollutant distributions, and performance of UFAD systems. The increasing developments of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in the recent years have opened the possibilities of a low-cost, yet effective, method for improving UFAD systems in design phase, with less experiment required.

A Review on Performance Enhancement of Catalytic Conveter by Making Geometrical Changes

Now a days the global warming and air pollution are big issues in the world. The 70% of air pollution is due to emissions from an internal combustion engine. Catalytic monolith converters have been used for nearly four decades to reduce the toxicity of exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine powering automotive/machines The harmful gases like NOX, CO, unburned HC and particulate matter increases the global warming, so catalytic converter plays an vital role in reducing harmful gases, but the presence of catalytic converter increases the exhaust back pressure due to this the volumetric efficiency will decrease and fuel consumption is higher.

So analysis of catalytic converter is very important. The scarcity and high demand of present catalyst materials necessitate the need for finding out the alternatives. So this paper is based on to find the possibility regarding to reduce emission and converted into high rate.

Effective Printing Text using Bluetooth Technology from Android Application

In communication Bluetooth technology is becoming popular standard, in wireless technologies it is one of the most expeditious growing field. It is very facile to utilize and can meet most of today's injuctive authorizations of mobile and personal communication wireless part of this communication is handled by Bluetooth. Between these contrivances it transmits and receives data. While mobile phone is not just a phone these days. there are no of applications used in mobile wireless printing. its quite popular to print from a mobile applications.

this paper aims to do that. in market each of printer company has its own printing application. the main aim of this work is to develop only android application for all printers as to implement real time thermal printing from mobile application even through voice command.
