Security Technique and Congestion Avoidance in Mesh Network

Security in wireless network is one of the prime concern in today's Information Age, where information is an asset not only to an organisation but also to an individual. Security to a great extent is able to protect the network from various unauthorized attacks. On the other side implementation of security mechanisms also causes an overhead in terms of increased load in the network. Further the increased load in the network paves path to congestion which degrades the performance of the wireless network. In this paper we try to highlight various challenges pertaining to security in mesh networks and the ways of reducing security threats.

We propose an improved version of AODV which has a congestion avoidance mechanism. We also use a security technique called PGP for enhanced security of Mesh network.

Smart Automation Gas Level Monitoring with Gas Leakage Deduction and Refill Booking using Embedded System

The main aim of this project is to monitor forliquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leakage to avoid fireaccidents providing house safety feature where securityhas been an important issue. The most commonproblem experienced in our day- to- day lives that isregarding GAS leakage system. When it comes it tosafety of the surrounding as well as gas container wehave an MQ-5(gas sensor), which will detect the gasesby propane, butane, carbon monoxide ,smoke ,alcoholetc. The system detects the leakage of LPG using gassensor and When the system detects the LPGconcentration in the air exceeds the certain level then itimmediately takes action by automatically.

Thus herewe are using the gas sensor which placed in the leakpoints, which senses the concentration value of gasessuch as propane ,butane ,smoke ,alcohol , carbon monooxideetc and when the concentration value exceeds thenormal value the leakage of gas is detected , and alertsystem used by buzzer and the automatically open thewindows prevent fire accidents. The gas sensor hasbeen used which has high sensitivity to gases likepropane and butane. When the concentration of LPG inair exceeds a certain level, the sensor senses the gasleakage and the output of the sensor goes LOW. Thedetection is done by the gas sensor, through themicro controller the LED and buzzer are turned ONsimultaneously. Using relay DC motor is automaticallyopen the windows.

Automatic Bottle Filling System using PLC

This paper presents the automatic water bottle filling system using plc and scada. Automation is the field which reduces the human efforts and labour requirement. One of the important application of the automation is in the soft drinks and other beverage industries, where the particular liquid has to be filled continuously. The machines are specialist for filling water in any kind of bottle. This bottle filling mechanism is done using the various types of sensors. The filling operation is controlled using plc and scada. This whole process is done using the various components like solenoid valve, conveyor belt, sensors.

Literature Review on Stay Off Stealers (SOS) Home Security System

Now a day's people are going through many problems related to security of systems, so security is the most important thing nowadays. In this paper, we try to mention all study related to the security system, basically the system which related to the door lock and main entrance of buildings, which is helpful to prevent an issue like robbery. In past years, the research is gone on different door lock security systems like systems which provide indications of the buzzer.

Due to the modern technology, some door lock security systems are based on Arduino, raspberry, the microcontroller also with subcomponent like GPS, GSM, RFID, face scanning, biometric scanning etc. each component is defined with their positive and negative points. In most of systems, SMS technique is used for communication to the system will become cost-effective, more reliable and it will take less time to deliver the message. As security having a big issue nowadays, the security monitoring systems today need to make use of the latest technology.

In some papers, the authors have presented door lock security monitoring system based on embedded and Zigbee and sometimes the lock is protected by automatic password hence it could not easily hack by hackers. Also, the raised security systems are available based on Android platform, wireless techniques, and embedded systems. A lot of modification takes places in various Door lock security from the last few years, in next coming years, many changes will take place.

Roadmap of Six Sigma for Engineering Colleges

A quality improvement tool called Six Sigma and its extension Lean Sigma has gained lot of attention and importance in service sector especially in engineering education. Six Sigma has several benefits in education and specifically provides a competitive edge over others. As per the old belief that only manufacturing organizations can be benefitted by Six Sigma, now a day study found the tremendous applications and applicability of Lean and Six Sigma in engineering colleges. There are still a number of issues related to the nature of education systems that must be resolved before the full benefits of Six Sigma can be realized.

In this paper, the issue related with the practical application and implementation of Six Sigma through various angles as such: analytical, institutional, and personal point are studied. Awareness of the existence of such issues, if not the answers to all of them, is a pre-requisite to effective adoption of Six Sigma tools. A general roadmap for Six Sigma that can be applicable in engineering colleges is presented here.

A Review on Various Image Watermarking Technique

This paper represents digital watermarking is a technique which allows an individual to add hidden copyright notices or other verification messages to digital audio, video, or image signals and documents. Two types of digital watermarks may be distinguished, depending upon if the watermark seems to be visible or even cannot be seen to the rare viewer. The complete goal of this paper is to explore the comparison of various techniques based on watermarking image and it also demonstrate that it provides the secured image watermarking with a decent capacity.

Barriers for Implementation of Renewable Energy Technologies in Rural Areas-a Review

This paper provides a review on barriers of rural electrification and mechanisms for these activities. Access to affordable and high-quality electricity is essential for the development of modern economies. Low rates of electricity access in the developing world pose a signi?cant barrier to sustainable economic and social development, particularly in rural areas.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that about 1.3 billion people in the world, primarily in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, still lack a connection to electricity.
