Analysis of Air Conditioning System used in Automobile

Air conditioning has great importance in many areas of life. Especially it is crucial in transportation sector. Many people spend long time in an automotive cabin during business, travel, shopping, etc., every day. The aim of this study is to analyze the performance of a bus shell by considering identifying practical solutions in order to reduce the impact of air conditioning on bus, consumption and, therefore, on air pollution. The analysis is carried considering several parameters, including passenger capacity, local climatic conditions, fuel consumptions, and latitude and longitude of starting destination of the places. For the analysis, a bus with passenger capacity of 60 people is selected and then it's heat load capacity will be determined by considering different conditions like seasons and various loads. The influence of the refrigerant decrease and the change of the air temperature which gets to exchangers on the refrigeration efficiency of the system to be analyzed. Also, its effectiveness and the power required to drive the compressor will be analyzed. The entire model, its analysis and results are discussed in the below work.

Review on Bio Mimitic Robotic Bird

The present world has reached to a stage where most of the sophisticated and sensitive tasks are mostly done by artificial hands. This paper discuss about the details of artificial birds are also called as ornithopters which belongs to Micro Arial vehicle MAV category. Bio mimicking robots have been replaced the place of human with their uncompromised accuracy and efficiencies. However the real challenges in developing MAVs is still unsolved and not interpreted as it flies in the transient and low Reynolds number flow. This paper investigated the aerodynamic factors of fly's which influence their flight, different kinematic mechanisms which drives the vehicle and different types of designs for wings and their performance. In line with this, both past and future of this innovative area were discussed. One other hand selection of material is also plays vital role in case of MAVs weight consideration . So, this paper explain the different material which suited for this kind of flying machine.

Heat Load Calculations and Duct Design for Commercial Building G 2

The modern commercial or office building consists of the HVAC system which is Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioned. In this report, we'll going to identify the purpose and goals of HVAC system, describe HVAC types, describe HVAC parts and describe how this part works together or its working cycle. outsides to air conditioning there are ventilation systems like ceiling fan, fresh air supply and exhaust fan where ceiling fan is used is used to ventilate the air with rotating blades and exhaust fan is used to displace the inside air to the outside environment, fresh air supply is used to displace the inside air to the outside environment by supplying fresh air from the outside air. And also the design of duct by using the heat load calculations based on that how much amount of air to be carried out to gain the required cooling inside the area is determined and also creating the comfortable zone for the humans.

Modelling and Analysis of Go Kart Chassis

The best way to evaluate a functioning go kart would be testing its performance under various conditions and points. Therefore, a new go kart called Mech Tech initial was presented in this report. Mech Tech initial was constructed based on the common go kart size found in the market but with slight difference in the frame design. Mech Tech initial's chassis was built using steel pipes, bent and welded together, with consideration to the position, braking system, steering system, seat position and many more. Other go kart's components such as engine, seat, steering wheel, brake system, bumper and wheels are mounted to chassis to test the performance. The chassis dimensions were taken for further testing and future reference. Among the tests applied are weight distribution on each wheel, and 17 degree method.

Designing of Solar Air Conditioning for Four Wheeler

In present day scenario natural resources like fuel, coal are used extremely and in the coming years the availability of these resources would fall down drastically. So it's high time for the people all over the world to find the alternative other than these resources. Electrical vehicles operated with batteries is one example to say that technology is progressing at a brisk phase. Another example of the natural source of energy is sun, and in this project solar energy is used as a remedy to optimize its fullest. To use solar energy and convert it further into electrical energy requires some components and their functions are to be well understood. A PV solar cell is used to directly change solar energy into electrical energy, a battery for storage of collected solar energy and a single phase DC motor which is run by battery power. The purpose of the motor is to transfer power to compressor to move and start the process. By the functioning of these components, making a note of dimension of the vehicle, material used for preparing vehicle outer body and glass heat load calculations are calculated and a result is not favorable for designing solar air conditioning system In future solar energy is going to be one of the predominant sources of energy in coming the days due to its abundant availability.

Generation of Air Conditioning by using Exhaust Gases and Cooling Water of an Automobile Engine

Air conditioning system of car or buses works on principle of vapor absorption cycle of refrigeration VAR . This system reduces the fuel economy of fuel of vehicle. When vehicle moving with air conditioning, it consumes more amount of fuel than vehicle rubs without AC, typically, it consumes 15 to 20 more amount of fuel. Exhaust gases coming from engine of vehicle have temperature ranges to 300 to 400 degree centigrade at full load it carries 25 to 30 of heat supplied by fuel. For A.C. of an automobile, the heat of exhaust gases is utilized to run vapor absorption refrigeration cycle instead of vapour compression refrigeration system. Resulting, it improves fuel economy of A. C. heavy vehicle. In this project try to integrate the vapor absorption refrigeration system with car or bus or heavy vehicle engine exhaust. Comparative study has been carried out when car running with VCR and vapor absorption system of refrigeration.

Investigation on Mechanical Properties of TIG Welded Joint and its Efficiency

This work mainly pertains to improvement in the mechanical properties of IS 2062 steel plates welds through gas tungsten arc welding GTAW process. TIG Tungsten inert gas welding are well known welding techniques, that are being used in industries in the current age. Mild steel was the only commonly used material in TIG welding. Mild steel is the first material consumption. The comparison is done on the basis of the mechanical properties of the welded joint of TIG welding. This study is done on mechanical testing and non destructive tests DPT and radiography tests of TIG welding on IS 2062 Mild steel plates.
